No New Posts Ossus

Ossus was an important Jedi site for over twenty-five millennia, serving as a repository of knowledge and a center for learning for the Old and New Jedi Orders alike. In the latter years of the Old Republic and beyond, it was home to the tribal Ysanna, descendants of Jedi who had survived the Cron supernova. Remains one of the Jedi strongholds with the new Jedi Praxium.

No New Posts Ziost

Ziost was a world made up entirely of an ancient dark forest. Not only was it a focal point of the dark side, but it was also the adopted homeworld and imperial capital of the Sith species, who left their original homeworld, Korriban as a graveyard world after the death of their leader Adas. In 6,900 BBY, Dark Jedi fleeing the Battle of Corbos came to Ziost and subjugated the Sith species. Ziost became the capital of the ancient Sith Empire before the failures of Naga Sadow during the Great Hyperspace War. The Republic and Jedi cleansed the world in an act of genocide against the Sith species.

No New Posts Korriban

It was used as a graveyard for Ancient Sith and was later reborn as a home and training ground for modern Sith. It was once a slave world of the Infinite Empire many millennia before the first Sith Lords came. Sith Lord Naga Sadow built his tomb millennia later around the Star Map, a relic of the time when the Rakata had used the Star Forge.

This remote, forbidding planet seethes with dark side energy and echoes with the whispers of a thousand ghosts. It was the burial world of the ancient Sith Empire, and has long been a sacred planet for the Sith Order.

"So Carth, you've been all over the galaxy right? How would you rate Taris?"
"To be honest, Mission, Taris would rate pretty low. The prejudice, the rich spoiling themselves while the poor are crushed beneath them. Not a pretty picture."
¯Carth Onasi to Mission Vao[src]
Taris was an urban planet in the Outer Rim Territories. A planet that quickly developed over just the span of a century of prosperity, Taris suffered from massive overpopulation, and only its importance to trade routes kept it from falling apart. Once its importance dissipated with the introduction of improved trade routes, Taris quickly fell into decay. The remainder of Taris' history was wrought with civil disorder and social unrest. Turning to industry to compensate for its loss of trade-importance, Taris' oceans became pollution, taking out the planet's main food source. A violent civil war broke out as a result of the famine between the poor and the rich. This civil war initiated a lasting prejudice of the human-centric Tarisian nobles and the largely alien poor. The city became segmented, and the lower classes were banned from living in the upper levels of Taris.
