Thurra system
Esstan Sector
Outer rim Territories
A lone shuttle made its way into the system of Thurra. It wasnt long after penetrating the atmosphere of the planet Thule that the planets obsidian mountaintops tore through the dark thunderhead and came into view. The rocky outcroppings which broke the plains were charred black from being hit by such lightning storms. This charred, charged, rock also served as a form of sustenance for unusual, bioluminescent moss that made the rocks glow with an eerie light. The approaching shuttle weavied in between the treacherous jagged peaks, delving deeper into the dark mountains.
Knowing crimson eyes observed the landscape with a hunger, as if the mountains held something from them. The taint in these mountains was not easy to ignore. Much had trasnpired here throughout the course of history. This was part of Xim's empire, part of the Great Hyperspace War, The Great Sith War, and part of Revan's empire. The system fell from one hand of power into another throughout history until finally command had been restored to where it belonged.
The shuttle circuled a small opening deep within the mountain pass. What dwelled within the opening was the mouth of a cave structure. As the shuttle touched down, many dark figures clad in black armour seemingly krept out of the cave like shadows to greet the shuttle.
Captain Des Friknann (Untrained force sensative)
Ex Imperial Navy
Sith infatuist and Pilot to the Dark Lord
Kavar's Ship Ambition
Captain Des Firknann unstrapped himself from the pilot seat of the sith vessel, Ambition. He was a stout, muscular man about 33 years of age. He had close cropped black hair and adorned Cortosis Armour.(rumored to be able to stand up to anything, including a lightsaber blade) Des quickly assesed a shuttle diagnostic. The vessel seemed to be in good order and all systems were green. As soon as he had finished up, he tucked his vibrosword to the side so that he could stand up. The Dark Lord sure knows how to pick them. he thought to himself as he walked toward his master's quarters. There is something dark about this place that makes me feel.... on edge. not that he minded ofcourse. It was something you get used to hauling the most powerful being in the galaxy from system to system. But there is something here....bah rubbish. he discarded his thoughts as he entered the code to the Dark Lord's quarters. With a whoosh the door opened to reveal the extravagant and ornate chamber. The walls were filled with obsidian and marble carvings of sith history. It was hard not to stare at them. He himself longed to be trained in any of his master's academys. The throne-like chair at the end of the room where Kavar should be was empty. The Captain instinctively move past the throne to the door at the end of the room and activated the communicator.
The Dark Lord himself sat in that very chamber deep in his thoughts. His surroundings consisted of talons filled with texts from the ancient sith masters carved into the obsidian stone. (Think of the mariluka in kotor 2) He had come here to one of his three academies(This one for sith assasins. Trained in the force only in stealth. More on these later) for inspection....and for something more. He had centered himself in the his meditation chamber to focus on his studies. He felt what the planet kept hidden from him. He could sense it, but the power of this place had hiddent it from him. He longed to learn from it's secrets. Yes, even now the dark lord was still yearning for the lost secrets of the dark side. He wished to connect himself with this system. The planet has vast amounts of dark energy, and he would bond with it and command it as his own. Kavar called on the force. At first he felt a faint heat, but as he drew even more into his well of power that heat became a raging inferno. There was nothing else between him and his goal. After what seemed like days Kavar broke his trance and found himself sweating profusely. He was not surprised, however. Content with his results, he stood and reached for his cloak. The Captain was coming.
"My Lord, we have arrived at Hoctu's Temple. The head of the assasin academy Pernicar awaits you."
As soon as Captain Friknann stopped speaking the door whooshed open and standing in the doorway was the Sith Lord. The captain didn't speak but simply turned and led on. Kavar followed the captian until they reached the ramp, then the captain stopped and bowed beaconing him toward the figure dressed in the violet and gold robes. Kavar paid Des no attention but continued down the loading ramp toward the figure. As he did so the assasins in black armor as well as Pernicar bowed. He raised up as Kavar approached.
"I trust you did not fail me Pernicar." Kavar searched the eyes of the academy's head.
"No milord. Everything is in order..as promised." Pernicar said beconing the Sith toward the dimly lit tunnel. He thought he saw a twisted smile cross his master's face.
"Good." Soon...how very soon. he thought to himself. "Where is my apprentice?"
As they descended into the tunnel the battlements of a burried temple/fortress came into view.
"She should be arriving within the next few days milord."
Kavar simply nodded in approvement and made his way into the academy.
