Fyaar stood in front of the two doors to enter Jalua's council. He knew that what he was about to do could lead to much trouble, but he really didn't have time for pleasantries. Beside him, the two guards who hade escorted Fyaar were confused, thanks to a special concoction that Tektor had prepared. It was designed to target everyone but a select few, and acted to confuse and disorient for a few hours, with no harmful effects.
Fyaar walked up to the doors, and without further ado, pushed them open.
"Hail, Empress Jalua of the Imperial Coalition! Greetings from the Galactic Empire. I have come to propose the terms of a new alliance, and ask you for your help."

Jalua's royal purple lightsaber was pointed centimeters from Fyaar's throat, while the Advisors, Admirals, Generals and other staff on her council had strangely been yanked to the back of the room. She listened carefully to Fyaar, and eyed the two guards escorting him. Reaching into the force, she immediately knew something was wrong, and grabbed Fyaar with her spare hand. "You trick my guards and poison their minds. Then you barge into an important meeting and start shouting around, not only alerting everyone of where i am but also claiming that you have come to make an alliance!" she shouted into his face, hers very close to his. She let go of him and looked him straight in the eyes, her anger was clearly visible. Although she was meant to be a Jedi Knight, so many months away from such training and a selfless life had given her a hard edge, to the point of using her anger like a tool, instead of holding it at bay. It was clear to those who knew her that she was falling closer to the edge of the dark side, but to herself, her actions were right from a ruler who cared about her people and empire. "An alliance you want?" she asked, still boiling with anger, her presence scaring a few of those on her council who had been flung through the air behind her, something they had never witnessed before, they were all deadly silent. It just became clear to those around her, that the lightsaber she had been coronated with was a deadly weapon.

Tektor raised an eyebrow at the lightsaber raised to his throat. He was slightly moved by Jalua's actions to defend her admirals, general s and other miscellaneous assistants, but he was by no means impressed.
He raised a gauntleted hand, and made a movement as if to swipe the lightsaber away from him. Immediately, it sputtered and died, and on the leather gauntlet a small, pure cortosis disk was left bare, suspended slightly above the ceramic armour.
"Empress. If you do not wish to start a war, you would be much wiser to treat me respectfully, much as I will treat you." Fyaar's voice was weak and constricted from the hand at his throat, but he glared at Jalua. "As I said, I have important information to discuss with you, and newer, more favourable terms for an alliance. Now, let go of me, Empress."

Jalua was shocked by the gauntlet and its cortosis power. She briefly was stunned for a moment, but then decided to act. She swept her leg around, attempting to make Fyaar fall to the floor. She then reached down to grab both his legs, and to twist him around heading out of the door. "To talk you want?" she muttered violently.

Fyaar couldn't stop laughing.
He was in the presence of an Empress who talked like a child and who made fancy martial arts movements to take him down. He hit the floor laughing, and he went out laughing, well aware that everyone in the room thought he was crazy.
"Oh, ho, haha, he, I, haha, yes, I, oh my... I want hahaha, I want talk! I want talk, hahaha!"

Jalua had enough, she grabbed a soldiers blaster and shot him square in the chest. She looked at the injured diplomat for a few moments for a few seconds before turning to the guard, "Why is this on stun?" she asked furiously. She shook her head, switched it to full and fired again into the diplomat's stomach. "Get him treated and put into a cell" she ordered before turning back into the room with her council. "Put us on the highest alert level and prepare all of our forces for war" she said, leaving before she could get a response.

Tektor's laughter stopped when he saw Jalua grabbing a blaster rifle, but even he was unprepared when she shot him twice.
"Argh!" He was stunned, but he was only beginning to lose consciousness when she shot him again. He could only hope now that John would come to his rescue.

With Jalua now in a hidden room filled with electronic equipment deep within the palace, she could give orders throughout Coalition space. "This is the Empress, how are we doing?" she asked into a comm receiver. There was no visual identification, only voice, the transmitter was going to be harder to find that way. "This is Admiral Yurik, the 1st and 2nd Fleets are surrounding Salanda as we speak" he responded immediately, his alien voice a welcome change for Jalua. "This is General Narco, we have Gyndine on standby to go. Civilians are picking up weapons from depots and our military on the planet is fortifying the Star Fort. We estimate roughly twenty-five million soldiers will be defending the complex, although more will be manning defence towers and planetary defences" the ageing General spoke with wheezing voice, although immediately a younger voice came over the line. "This is High Admiral Lang, we have Gyndine system secured with the 4th, 6th, 9th and 18th fleets. This planet will take an armada to fall" he later added after a brief intake of air. The list went on, with military staff slowing taking direct control over the Empire on behalf of Jalua Solast, their Empress. From this room, she could see tactical displays and other screens showing useful information in times of war. With the room sealed and built to protect her, she was totally safe. There was however, a line to the palace communication office, where she could receive visual communication to outsiders.

"Prepare for landing."
Three ATR transports landed in the Salanda Royal Palace, where only hours before Tektor had landed by himself.
100 Guardians came out of the transports, and established a perimeter, nose to nose with the Salanda Royal Guard.
Behind them, escorted by 4 Squad Leaders, Hammond descended. His armour was a dark grey with blue, and it helped him move almost normally. The armour made Hammond seem much taller, but his movements still seemed frail, and at times the armour would shoot small retrothrusters to help him keep his balance.
The Supreme Commander halted as he descended from the transport. "Where to now?"

Special Forces soldiers, with the Special Forces Support Group supporting them, amounted to almost two hundred soldiers with several hundred more nearby. They formed a huge narrow column and indictated silently for the arrivals to follow. They went into the palace while the commander radioed in to the operations room, telling them that the Supreme Commander was with the arrivals.

Hammond moved slowly, while his guards spread out in what was a nightmarish mission. They were eye to eye with the enemy, and all of them were ready to shoot. Finally they arrived wherever they were being led to ( )

Jalua received word from the operations room and headed out of the fortified room, more like a bunker. She made her way through several corridors and into a special room which was guarded by four soldiers and squads of two patrolling the corridors surrounding the room. It was silent in there, but the loud noise of footsteps could be heard approaching, so Jalua straightened her state uniform and sat at the end of the small table. There were three seats, Jalua pondered over this for a while.
After a couple of minutes, a flood of soldiers stormed into the room, but once seeing the Empress here already, they saluted and waited outside, while the Supreme Commander was allowed entrance. Jalua stood up and saluted, a very formal greeting, although one which signalled to the supreme commander how serious she felt the situation was. Surprisingly to her, just ending her salute, Dan Zorko's face appeared, something which shocked her. She hadn't expected him to arrive, but undoubtably had been asked to by the Supreme Commander for whatever reason. Nodding her head informally to him in acknowledgement, she sat down without indicating for the others to follow.

Hammond nodded in response to Jalua's salute. He felt weary, and sick, but he was the first to break the silence.
"Greetings.... Empress." He sat down heavily, activating several retrothrusters in the process as he almost fell down. "I... felt the need to invite the Grand... Admiral, to act as an intermediary."
Hammond fiddled with some buttons, and at last the reflective visor that covered his face was removed. He did not look well.
"I am sorry, but I am not.. able at this time to remove my, my helmet. I am, actually, in the process of being assassinated, you see?" John smiled weakly. "So. What have you done with Imperial General Tektor Fyaar, Empress?"

Jalua did feel for the Supreme Commander, she reached into the force and began to relieve some of his pain while she spoke. "I've heard he is in a stable condition, he is being treated but no organs were damaged, he will make a full recovery" Jalua let this subject come to a close before continuing, she didn't feel the need to make an apology for her actions against his envoy. "I'm saddened that it took this type of action for you to visit me, i thought our alliance was strong. Either way, now that your here, we need to talk about your lack of communication. Correct me if your wrong, but the signs are showing that you are preparing an invasion fleet against us, something which worries me when we should be allies".

Hammond couldn't help but smile when Jalua said he hadn't visited her.
"Empress... I have been sick for over... two weeks now. Even when I... planned the elimination of the Sith, I was sick. I'm sorry I have not been able to visit you. I was in the hospital."
A long pause.
"It is true my fleets are building up. It is only natural. I have many enemies... However, I have not considered invading Imperial Coalition territory. I don't like your relationship with the Mandalorians. They... have many interests. And they... have not kept good relationships with us, who are, too, their allies."
"Is there anything else that worries you?"
