Actually it's not in Remnant Space. Not unless they have taken over the Core anyway. View one of the galaxy maps here.Most galaxy maps give the same location, so by the New Republic Era it is actually controlled by them. Yaga Minor is within Remnant Space however. |

In old Redfive however, Remnant did maintain control of Kuat. It was a bit of an Alamo. I guess they could still have it but with Republic Space all around it, not a problem really since the New Republic would probably allow ships to go through it's space from Kuat to other Remnant Territories. |
