Sal walked into a small two floored building towards the outskirts of the city. It was quieter here with merchants making up most of the population along with the usual slave quarters. The entrance of the building she had chosen wasn't very smart, it was the usual sandstone texture with the usual layout. A small passage with rooms spreading out from this, the only difference to the other buildings was that some stairs was laid out in the passageway. Within a few moments an old woman appeared, her face showing from behind a wall before walking to Sal. "Hello there, i would like to rent a room for a while" Sal said innocently, she wanted no impression that she was up to something. "Of course", mumbled the woman, who was well into her eighties, quite an achievement in these parts. "I have two available, do you want the room i let out to singles or a bigger one?" said the old woman, giving a hint at the last remark. Politely giving a short laugh, Sal shook her head. "I don't plan on having any visitors, most of my friends are off-planet" A lie, but something to make the old woman believe Sal was nothing more than someone finding a new life for themselves. Following the woman, Sal took in her surroundings, examining every room that they passed.
After a few very short seconds, they arrived at the door to the room and entered, the old woman giving space for Sal to enter. It was a small room, with a basic bed aligning the far wall and a small desk, something which would probably be used by travellers with a lot of business work or students. "Thank you, this will do nicely. How much will i owe you per night?" Sal asked, genuinely glad that she now had somewhere to stay before the approaching sandstorm had chance to cover the city into a ghost town. "Ninety Credits per night you stay for this room". Although the price was a little steep, Sal heard no other movement around the building and agreed with a simple nod. "Of course, i should be here a few days but I'm not sure when i will be going, so will you take me for a few weeks" Sal spoke, before quickly being interrupted. "Yes of course dear, you can stay as long as you like... if you pay that is". Without another murmur, the old woman exited the room, leaving Sal within. It was dark she found, most of the light had be entering through the upstairs passageway and not through a window, the only one visible was a small gap, like she had seen on the side of ancient castles. Sitting down at the desk, Sal fetched out her carrying case she kept within her robes, something she quickly slung over her shoulder to keep her essentials in what wouldn't fit anywhere else. Within, she grabbed out a small datapad and a drink. Opening the tin with the green liquid, she had a sip before beginning to write down the events what had happened over the last few days.
