In space over Ziost

[Dan Zorko]

Part of Dan's fleet hung in orbit above Ziost. The Black Claw, Black Talon, Trojan Horse, Vengance, and Armagedon hung in wait for a convoy that was passing through, consisting of several GR-75 Medium Transports, and 2 Nebulon B frigates. A schedule for a transport convoy was found during a search by his slicers for easy targets. 5 X-Wings, 10 TIE Bombers, and and 5 TIE Interceptors hung in the space around the cluster of ships.

Dan stood on the bridge of his command ship. "Have all fighters ready to swarm the ships as soon as they arrive. Tell them to destroy weapons, shields, and engines on the GR-75's, and to let us take care of the Nebulons."

"Right away, sir." answered one of his crewmen.

Dan gazed out of the front viewport, and as he did, the target convoy dropped out of hyperspace. Dan spun on his heel and started barking orders: "Black Talon and Vengance take the first Nebulon, Trojan Horse and Armagedon the second! Status on those ships?"

"Suprised and no shields yet sir!" called back a crewman

"Good. Start phase 2!" Dan turned around to watch the action unfold. The two Nebulon-B's were destroyed before they could fire a shot. Escorted by the snubfighters, the bombers destroyed the weapons, engines, and comms on the GR-75's.

"Casualties?" Dan asked.

"None, sir." Came the reply.

"Excellent." Dan turned and flagged the lead transport using personal comm channels. "Good day, kind sirs. I am General Dan Zorko of the Black Moon Pirates. I advise you to surrender your ships and to keep your ships shields down if you don't want to be vaporized into space dust. Will you comply?"

The reply took a few seconds to come back. The voice sounded grim and tired. "This is Captain Blackhart of the independent shipping vessel Blaeshat. I surrender my ships to you. Docking bays are standing by."

Dan turned and started to walk towards the exits of the bridge. "Get 2 of the Sentels launched. Have them escort the LAAT/i I will be riding in. Keep all guns on the transports. If they get twitchy, we may have to destroy one as an example. Keep the rest of our fighters in our hangars on alert. Have the Black Snake, Redemption, and Tracer jump in off our starboard side. Have the Spice Runner, Corellian Booty, and Lazarius jump in on the opposite side. I don't like this. It's too easy, it may be a trap.

Oh yes, and move Calamari Loot, Spare Change, Blastshot, Turbobank, Sublight, and Reclaimmer within a 2 minute hyperspace jump range."

[Caedus Sadow]

Caedus stood in the command salon of Blaeshat observing their current situation. He had bartered transport to Ziost from Captain Blackheart for fear of being detected by Sith intellegence of the surrounding planets. He was on a mission from the Grand Counsel to get as much information as possible about the apparant and literal ruling of two that was going on amongst the rapid growing Sith Order. Besides, it was still very cloudy as to which one would take the role of Dark Lord and which would assume the role of Shadow Hand. The Galactic Alliance had requested that the Jedi Order keep tabs on this concern until further notice from their potential Mandalorian, Black Moon, or dare i think Remnant allies. Some of them may be in league with the Sith he thought to himself, but he was pulled away from these thoughts by an officer on deck.

"Master Jedi, your fighter has been made ready for your departure."

Caedus thought for a moment. He could get some information on his potential "allies" though he did not like their methods, and send them back to Lady Aldari on Ossus. The council would be pleased.

Dan sat on the bench of the LAAT/i. Troops were loaded in the two Sentinels that were trailing him on each side, but only his personal guards and the ship's crew were on this LAAT/i. Dan had always been a fan of the LAAT series, even if they were a bit outdated. Their ability to act as both a transport and a gunship had proved be very useful on numerous occassions.

As Dan sat, his comlink went off. "Sir, we think there is a fighter on the transport."

"Really... Markings?"

"We can't tell sir, we're too far away. Do you want a flybye?"

"No. Keep away from it, but get ready to intercept it if it launces. Notify me immeadiatly if it does launch."

"Roger sir. Black Claw out."

Dan pushed the thought to the back of his mind as his ship docked. His bodyguards were dressed in Stormtrooper armor that was painted red with a black stripe in the middle and on the side of each leg, giving them an even more ominous appearence. Other than his bodyguards, the troop loaded Sentinels waited in space in case something went wrong inside. But a Star Destroyer tends to take the fight out of most people.

The ship's captain stood before him with his crew. "Captain Blackhart, I presume?"

"You are correct." the man replied. He looked a bit haggard.

"I know this is a tough stituation for you, so I'll try to make this quick. Keep in mind I am a honorable buisnessman. So you or your men won't be harmed during this transaction. But I am also an irratable man. If your crew tries to fight us, they will be killed. Now please bring me your cargo manifest for all 3 ships. If it is false, your cargo handlers will be killed. Now is there anything I should know about first?"

"It should all be in order." the Captain said as he looked to the man net to him, who nodded.

"Excellent." Dan said.

[Caedus Sadow]

Sadow had reported to the council from the cockpit of his jedi fighter. They were not pleased to say the very least and deployed Caedus as a spy on Black Moons operations, not to incriminate them but only to observe their methods. In a way, they're tools and small fleet could prove extremely usefull to the Galactic Alliance as well as the galaxy as a whole. Caedus pulled his hood over his head and exited his fighter. Hopefully i'll see you again old friend. Haven't a clue how greedy these pirates are. He started off to the nearest turbolift to the bridge, but he must use stealth. No doubt the pirates already had men on the vessle.

Dan accepted the datapad from the crewman and started to look it over. He was about halfway through when his comlink went off. Dan walked over to the docking port where the Captain couldn't hear him.

"Zorko." he said.

"Sir, the crew on the third transport are fighting back! They have stunned a few of our troops, but we are holding them off." the worried soldier replied.

"All troops off that transport. Now. Make it look like we're pulling back. Start throwing concussive grenades and head back into the transport. Get everyone off the second transport too." Zorko said.

After the word came that all troops were off and accounted for, he returned to the captain.

"It appears that some of your men are trying to resist us. As I said earlier, we wouldn't hurt you if you didn't try to fight us. Now you must all suffer."

He turned on his comlink. "Execute"

At this point, all of Dan's capital ships he had with him fired upon the two transports. Even from inside, they could hear the two ships explode.

"Now you must suffer too." Dan turned and walked back towards his Reapers. He paused when he was right behind them. "Take them." In seconds, the captain and the crew with him were on the ground, dead.

"Clear the ship! Go through and kill anyone you find! Nothing of use is on this ship, we leave after. Dan's Reapers started moving through the ship. Occasionaly the sounds of blasters echoed through the ship.

The last two of the reapers left the room. Very soon after blaster shots were fired followed by a soft hum and loud thuds on a durasteel floor. Soon after the doors to the bridge opened and a man, hooded and cloaked, walked solemnly into the room one of Black Moons Reapers. Caedus waved his hand. You have done well. You will harm no one. The soldier nodded and left the room.

Dan stood with two of is guards. "Report." he said into his comlink.

"Bridge clear."

"Sleeping quarters clear."

"Cargo hold clear."

"Engine room clear." came the reply.

"Good" said Dan. "Return back to the ship. We're leaving."

Dan turned and entered the ship. In ones and twos his Reapers came back. When all were aboard, the all the ships and fighters returned back to their respective hangars. When Dan was back aboard the Black Claw, he returned to the bridge. "Orders sir?" one of his officers asked. "Prepare a hyperspace jump. To Onderon. Call for the rest of the Space Force to meet us there. Also, have Special Forces meet us there too. We'll gather, then plot our next destination."

"What about the ship, sir?"

"Leave it. It'll probably crash into Ziost anyways. It's of no use to us, it needs a complete overhaul."

"Sir, coordinates entered! Ready to jump on your mark."

"Good. Jump."

Dan's ships entered the bright tunnel that is hyperspace.

ooc: Escape in your starfighter, I guess. I have no more forces in the area. Do you need one of my ships to bring your starfighter somewhere?

ooc: i thought i was aboard your ship. Ugh...confusion. Anyway, lets just say you have a stowaway when you arrive in space above Onderon. I wanted to get into that topic anyway.

OOC: K. But please don't try to lightsaber everyone, I need all the men I can get. And the way it's looking, I think the BMP and NR are going to align.

[Jalua Solast]

Thirty light years outside of Ziost, the Enlightenment appeared from hyperspace. With it's engines at cruise speed, it slowly drifted into the fleet which had formed together. Elements of the 1st Royal Support Group, mainly the new Chariot Star Cruisers had formed alongside R-Wings and troop transports. Inside, the two thousand Special Forces Support Group soldiers, with the Special Forces had their positions and instructions. Because of this being a planetary-wide raid, some other soldiers had arrived too. Four thousand paratroopers and twelve thousand normal paratroopers had also embarked upon the troop transports, although the operation was being held tightly to the Coalition's chest, these would be vital for helping to secure territories.

Up until now, the SFSG (Special Forces Support Group) had been underrated, but these consisted of the thousands who entered Special Forces training but couldn't finish it completely, those who were so close but couldn't quite get the grade. Instead of returning these back to their regiments, this new group had been set up to assist the Special Forces on operations. With the SF doing the main mission, the SFSG could bring added experience and training to the situation where larger numbers were called for.

Jalua met Colonel Daniel Riland of the Special Forces and Major General Elizabeth Jones on the bridge of the Enlightenment. "I will be personally going with you Colonel Riland to the complex. We'll clear out the complex and search for information. We will need the SFSG close to provide a diversion for us by attacking the nearby training grounds" Jalua said to them both, so each knew what the other was doing. "I will look forwards to fighting with you" the Colonel responded, flashing a smile at the Empress. Ignoring the charm offensive, Jalua turned to the Major General who would be leading the Paratroopers, these were being fitted with an armour similar to that used by Republican forces that previously patrolled this area. "Jones, we will need the paras to deploy from the transports without touching the ground. I believe that the troops should have rapid deployment capability from the shuttles, standard ropes should be sufficient correct?", "Yes Empress" the Major General responded in a slightly look of surprise. "Good" the Empress responded immediately, without a pause. "Once we have more information or need extra support, we will call upon you with the coordinates of the targets. Keep out of the planetary sensor range for now, but once your given the coordinates, your position will be given away, so strike quick and hard". With that, she saluted them both, who saluted back accordingly.

Jalua spun on her heel and began to walk away from the bridge and down a series of corridors. She noticed a familiar face following beside her. "So then, if your coming down with us soldier, you can go with the support group. They will be seeing action, so stick close to them and follow their instructions perfectly, with a bit of creativity of course" she ordered to Dan, still not seeing past his latest disguise. If she had used the force upon Dan, she would no doubt have realised who he was, but with that many around her, there hadn't been a need.

Dan saluted. "Yes ma'am." he said. He put on his helmet and made his way down to the hangar, where the SFSG was assembled, being briefed. He made his way in, where he was called out by the leader. "Excuse me, soldier. What are you doing here? You're interuppting a briefing for SFSG soldiers only."

Dan shook his head. "Orders sir, from the Empress. I've been assigned to the SFSG for this mission."

[Jalua Solast]

The transports launched themselves forwards in a short hyperspace jump to the planet. Within seconds, they had arrived and was streaming towards the atmosphere of the planet, ignoring any protocols, just diving straight to the surface. On board, a total of over two thousand soldiers had their ordered and was getting their equipment checked for the last time.
