With the twelve recon vessels screaming through the atmosphere, they began to form into a huge fireball, not the stealthiest of entries. Inside, the crew's were fully protected from the heat and flames and waited for the crafts to head towards the ground. Within a couple of minutes all twelve were swooshing towards the ground and slowing down rapidly, before hitting the ground in a large rainforest. Trees stopped most of the craft while others just gradually slowed after the initial impact into the bog. The crew's opened up their canopies and activated the two minute timer, the standard action when landing a craft of this type. The standard droid-equipped models also had this feature which the droid's activated when detected, it's missile loads would explode, taking the craft with it to destroy the evidence. This was also used by the special forces so that no link could be made with the Galactic Republic Navy.
The special forces soldiers escaped with their gear and grouped up in the tree line, while twelve explosions erupted in their wake. In the dense rainforest, sensors would be unable to detect the soldier's but no doubt had the flames attracted attention when the craft punched through the atmosphere. The special force's headed away from the crash site, a long journey which would take them three to four days before reaching. Once at their destination, they would begin splitting into groups of four troops, Red, Blue, Green and Gold Groups.

Months had passed and the Commandos had found themselves getting acclimatised to the new atmosphere well. All four squadrons had seperated and kept up patrols in the region. This would go on for some time and little activity seemed to be happening in this dense jungle, but somewhere and somehow, they would be able to take advantage of the Mandalorian's self-security. Several months worth of supplies had been dropped with the special forces' soldiers and they had put them to good use. Soon enough they would begin to collate the surrounding hundred miles of Jungle with the routines of workmen and droids, what colonies and outposts were in the region and generally any events that happened. Because Mandaloiran's had found themselves increasingly shadowed by surrounding faction's, they had cut themselves off mostly from the scientists from the Republic who would have studied this jungle and it's wildlife. Instead, the Commando's had to rely on outdated sources and pure imagination and cunning. Hunting wildlife was not a necessity at this stage but they were using the sources around them to top up their food intakes.

John and his men entered Mandalore II in battle formation, descending quickly through the tree canopies. They landed on a large isle surrounded by bog water. Upon arrival, a team of mandalorian guards surrounded them. John had only brought some troopers with him, leaving the fleet in the orbit.
We come in peace. I am the new temporary leader of the Imperial Remnant. We are here in search of having some words with your mandalorian leader.

*All of them had their rifles trained on the apparent leader who dared make demands...much less speak.*
The captain of the guard move closer to this "emperor" and gave a small chuckle.
Captain Varr: "Bit lost arent you? You are about as far from the palace as it gets. No appointment, no admission, yet you just drop out of hyperspace in a battle formation and expect your demands to be met?"
Varr turned his back to the man.
Captain Varr:" If you want to see Mandalore you will give my men all your weopens and your ships will be confiscated."

Hammond snorted.
"Tell me Captain..." He moved forward and read the Mandalorian's name tag, "Captain Varr. Would a Mandalorian Warrior ever agree to giving up his weapons?" When the Captain stared at him, Hammond chuckled, "No, I did not think so. You Mandalorians have not changed in millenia." By now, the Imperials were starting to get tense. The Mandalorians had begun to set up a security perimeter around the squad. They had clearly not been idle throughout the ages, and it was obvious that the Mandalorians' weaponry far outstripped the Remnants. Men kept their rifles close to them, ready to react at any moment.
"This is what I will do. Five of your men will fly my ship back to the Palace Hangar, where it will stay until I require it again. The rest of your... battle force will be permitted to escort us to the Palace. We will surrender all our grenades and half of our ammunition to you as a sign of good will. However, these will be placed inside of the cruiser, and all the weaponry will be expected to be there when we return. Unless you comply," At this, Hammond stopped smiling and looked at the Captain, "I have a fleet in orbit waiting for an encrypted cancellation order. Unless I provide the fleet with this order sometime today, they will bombard Mandalore, until nothing is left but an asteroid field. None of your battle fleets will be able to prevent this. They may be able to defeat my fleet, but not stop it from bombarding the planet. What do you say to this, Captain?"
Hammond walked back to his troops, and faced Varr once more. He grabbed an empty food canister. "Also, I have some information that I would like to provide you with... after you have agreed to my terms. This information could prevent a possible boycott attempt, or even an assassination attempt on Mandalore himself. Bear this in mind before you refuse."
