Walking up the steps lined with red carpet, the four walked up to the entrance of the building. In her arms, Jalua was holding baby Jaya in her arms closely, making sure the robe was wrapped around her to give much needed protection from the wind. With Talia to her left, Caedus to her right and Dan's agent behind her, it made the group stand out. Waiting at the entrance was a couple of men wrapped in rags of clothing, looking like many of the refugee's. What did indicate to Jalua and probably the others in the group that these were soldiers was that their hands was clutching at something under their coats. What they was holding was a compact version of the Coalition standard rifle. It's small design meant it lost it's accuracy but being easy to conceal and ideal for close-quarters had it's advantages. Escorting them into the lift of the hotel, the glass walls lit up with light as it zoomed up over the Hotel's entrance which stretched out towards the street. With the lift hooked onto a curve in the middle of the building, they could see the planet very clearly from here. There was lots of transport ships moving around, possibly bringing in more refugee's or attempting to take them away. Traffic was built up around key sites indicating towns while fields of tents and masses of people lit up the spaces in between.
Walking out of the lift, now facing the opposite way, the two soldiers walked into the corridor first before leading the group to a small row of eight rooms, four on either side. Using two bangs on each door, a single soldier came out of all except one room. Giving passes to selected members of the squad, the soldiers then finally opened the door to the last remaining room. Checking out their rooms, Caedus, Talia and Don - Dan's agent examined their surroundings. Before Jalua had chance to fully enter her own room which seemed to be equally spacious as the rest, a sudden movement came out of room 204 where the soldiers had entered. The two which had brought them to the corridor raised their weapons but returned to patrol when it was clear that the offending noise came from none other than Lauren Iram. Before greeting her sister, Lauren took baby Jaya from her arms and held her up, looking closely at her face. Lauren had last seen Jalua at her wedding and by that stage, Jaya hadn't been born. Holovids was the only memory that Lauren had of her niece, but that had now changed. Jalua used the relative space to unhook the bags from her back and place them at the corner of the room she had booked for her. Instead of the usual small rooms with cheap furniture that Jalua had come to expect when being hidden from public view, this one was more glamorous, but only just. The fake art was the most expensive part of the room, but still, the space was a welcoming sight and unexpected luxury.
Lauren was obviously excited to have the opportunity to see Jaya, and luckily for the baby girl, she was protected by the robe from her Aunty's cold armour plating. "So" Jalua said, to gain attention from her sister. "How long are we staying here?". Looking up briefly but not long enough to give a proper answer, Lauren muttered "A few days" while still giving Jaya the apparent g-force's of being in a starfighter. Being swooshed around the air was more than Jaya was used to when playing, but it luckily didn't give out screaming and tears, more giggling and laughter. Walking towards the balcony, she looked outside towards the planet outside. Glancing to the balcony on her right, she saw Don decloak her suit, although not looking directly at her. His purpose seemed to be just another confirmation that she was surrounding with people to protect her, not that it was such a bad thing, but sometimes Jalua wished that she would be given the freedom to go out across the galaxy and protect her child herself, she was a Jedi after all. Glancing back into the room, her sister was thrilled and acting like a child herself once again, giving a human aspect to her, more so than usual. The special forces here was the finest around, rarely heard of but hand picked from the other operational units to receive the best training, equipment and dirtiest jobs. The other times that Jalua had been along side them, they seemed to be unable to relax the way she did, they was always on guard and permanently so every second of every day, it was unnaturally clear. However seeing their Colonel swinging a baby through the air, a baby under their protection or possibly both actually brought out smilies on a few faces.
