Floating above the planet Salanda was a huge forty kilometer complex. With a large domed structure supporting a further ring, the station boasted a huge compliment of defensive weaponry and docking space. Already there were nine Chariot-Class Star Cruisers docked to the outside of the ring's docking arrays. Out of the darkness came the MCAV, pride of the Imperial Coalition Navy. It was also a formidable sight and on board came a confident Empress.
Instead of going to her Palace, she was about to enter the Station for the first time, and work with the Admiralty on what was known about the invasion. At this point she had only heard that an Invasion was taking place at Commenor and she was worried about the outcome.
With a large docking arm pulling out of the station, the MCAV carefully began to approach the station and drift alongside. Soon enough, the arm gripped onto the vessel and the Empress walked within into the station. There she was greeted by the Station Commander and a complement of Marines who were there to escort her safely around the station. She headed straight for the domed structure first, which contained many different areas based around one giant hall. The hall right now was filled with Marines in formation, giving her a salute as she passed. Being Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, she also gave a salute, especially deserving since she was wearing her new armour with her rank insignias. After visiting various area she was shown to the Station's Control Centre which maintained the space lanes entering Salanda and the orbital defences put into place once war had been declared. There she sat and listened to the various updates from the fronts, building an understanding of where the Coalition had control and where the Empire was conducting their invasions.

Dan sat in the bridge of the Talons Revenge as the elements of the 1st he brought popped out of hyperspace. "Holy..." swore a crew member as the sight of a space station locked onto a giant SSD type ship stood on the screen before them. Dan chuckled to himself, having forgoten that only he and the 6th had seen the MCAV so far. The space station was new, however. "It appears our Coalition friends have been busy." he said. "Hail that station. Request docking clearence for the Talons Revenge."

Corenda Station began communicating with the Black Moon Fleet while they approached to dock. Aboard the station, the Empress was just finishing off with the intelligence briefing. So far it seemed that Humbarine had almost certaintly being captured, the Imperials had broken through further galactic north and would by now have supply lines running into Coalition Territory. Most of the patrols along the border had been recalled with intelligence analysts going through their sensor reports. The Coalition didn't know exactly where the Imperial Navy had made the breech into Coalition space, but it had been done very well. Other than that however, the raid on Zeltros was a disaster and Commenor a failure. Otherwise, with the loss of contact from several Coalition star systems, it seemed that the Imperial Navy could have the bulk of their forces anywhere. Even so, it would be unwise to conduct such a early strike since it would leave the Coalition undefended elsewhere. With the Intelligence Services now checking up on KnightFire-Three's report of the Denon Guard Fleet, hopefully they would be able to make a surprise invasion of their own with what they could spare.
Jalua wasn't exactly thrilled with the information but she had expected worse, and people was working hard on coming up with something worthy for a counter-offensive. It was then that she heard Admiral Zorko had approached the station. Nodding silently and moving away from the discussion without comment, she walked with her escort towards the docking arm which would be stretching out towards Dan's fleet.

The Talons Revenge gently pulled alongside the station and gave a slight shudder as the docking arm locked on. With the rest of the fleet in a holding-defensive position around the station, Dan made his way down to the airlock where a squad of Reapers stood waiting for him. With a nod to them, he walked through the docking arm and into the station, where he came out to marines in formation. Looking around, he waited for whoever was to be greeting him.

Jalua walked into the docking bay with her armour still in place and a dark blue cloak over. Her lightsaber was clipped onto her belt and the Royal Marine Commandos were walking behind closely behind her just a few footsteps away. Passing along the front of the column of Marines, each row saluted and she in return raised her arm into salute as she passed them. Finally she walked to Dan and pulled him into a hug. Pulling away she turned to look at him again, he didn't seem injured from the battle at Zeltros which was a good thing. "I'm glad you had your gunships at Zeltros, they were needed quiet badly" she remarked out of pure respect and showing a thankful smile.

Dan shrugged. "In all honesty, me too. It was more you than me though, the 6th was on station a ways out, but wouldn't have gotten word until it was too late if you hadn't sent that message. They were able to call in the 3rd to assist with the Imps in orbit, so I'll forward your thanks to Admiral Duke." He looked around. "Quite the place. When was this made?"

"I'm not sure" Jalua responded thoughtfully, "When we left to go to Zeltos it wasn't here, so I'm guessing they must have built the sections and towed them here". Walking to a waiting servant, she picked up a small handheld holoprojector, and it's blue light emitted before them. "We have a rough area of where the Empire's positioned their Invasion Fleet. We thought them off at Commenor, Zeltros and Ambria so far. We also believe that they have taken Telti and Humbarine. Because of the invasion, contact with the Mandalorians is lost, although if necessary we can use a path from Sneeve to try and get to the Mandalorians at Togoria". Jalua took a look at the hologram floating above her and eventually pointed a gloved finger into the hologram, which rippled like a pebble hitting a pond. "This is Albringi Station, a military and civilian complex. They are conducting research programmes there and genetic modification for growing foods easier on ships. I know it sounds worthless but there are good people at that station and i know they won't leave it. It loosely orbits the Planet Mira, which contains a mining colony used to produce part of the armour on our warships. The planet can be equipped with defences but I'm not sure if we could continue to supply it in the future. The best thing to do would be to set up defences in the area for the defenders, and try to get them supplied to last out against the Empire. Hopefully, they will go unnoticed, but I doubt it. Want to come with me? I should have gone to visit before now, I gave them my word I'd help them".

"So does this always happen? You leave for a few days, you come back, HOLY CRAP: SPACE STATION?" Dan asked with a chuckle. "Anyways, sure, I'll go. I can help bring whatever this place needs to ride out the war. But have you been setting up a strike force to hit back if you know where the Imp fleet is?"

"Sure, we build them like our Chariots" she said with a slight laugh, "Just fix the blocks together and its ready". Jalua then zoomed in the hologram which was still activated between them. It showed a clear lane heading towards a main artery and an array of icons. "Even with our entire fleet, we cannot risk an open battle on such a large scale. The longer we can keep the Imperials separated, the better the odds will be. With that in mind, we can defend the region for a while, but they will undoubtedly creep forwards and eventually surround the station. For that reason, we will need to plan in advance, which is what we are doing now. I'll show you more when we arrive at the station then". Jalua led the way through the station towards another docking arm which connected her back to the MCAV. With the ship gathering enough supplies and people for the journey, they would soon be on their way.

Dan looked at a datapad as he walked. "I can deploy some of my fleets to help slow the Imperials. If elements of BM fleets combine with Coalition fleets at those points of which you're going to show me, you should have a better chance." As he walked, he sent a signal to the Talons Revenge and the 1st telling them to move with the MCAV to the station of which they were heading to.
