The Imperial Invasion fleet had managed to enter through the passage and got through the minefields and defences without a scrape. They had continued onwards to Telti, a small planet on the fringe of the Coalition where they could form up their beach head and then advance onwards into surrounding systems to make their forces more secure. The fleet assembled around the planet with starfighters patrolling the system. Gunboat, Destroyers and Cruisers formed the backbone of the immediate defence with the main fleet with it's Star Destroyers around the planet itself.

Telti was an area where no significant Coalition presence other than a small supply base and outpost was situated. These were used for resupplying ships guarding the border and was generally unused for weeks at a time. There was a small starfighter presence guarding a small corvette in the system but it was no match for the size of the Imperial Fleet. Attempting to flee, the corvette and it's escort soon got destroyed and as such, no call was made out to the Coalition telling them and other vessels in the area that they were under attack.

With a beachhead secured and resistance contained or eliminated, the fleet gathered together as the first supplies reached the invasion fleet. With Commenor and Zeltros under attack, it seemed that those two were the initial invasion points, but it had actually meant that diverted forces from the north of Coalition space hadn't been there to detect the massive Imperial armada sailing through their defensive lines.
It was a couple of hours before Grand Admiral Lang-Dju decided it was time to act, resistance had been light and hadn't caused any problems so the plans could be forwarded a bit further. He wasn't aware however of Admiral Kornos' assessment of the Coalition defences so hadn't modified his plans to suit. Far away at Bastion, the Imperial High Command was listening to the reports with unease, if the invasion failed to achieve it's plans, then Grand Admiral Lang-Dju could find himself getting an awful lot of blame for something he never actually knew about. It was a shame, but to Admiral Kornos who had now retreated from his raid at Zeltros, he would be likely to rescue the invasion and be promoted to the rank of Grand Admiral, no small feat but still possible given the unusual circumstances.
