[Caedus Sadow]

The Jedi Knight walked through the ancient and rebuilt halls of the Jedi Enclave. In years past, Caedus had found peace here...but there was no such feeling anymore. The reassurance he had once felt was now cloaded by the dark side. Sadow continued to walk, thinking of the situation that the galaxy was in. One thing more than all others.Kavar...where are you? And what are you up to?

Days past in the enclave. Caedus had been making regular reports to the council, and had lately even been asked to sit through some of the councile meetings. This day was no different. Caedus gave a report to the council on the intergalactic state of things.

Caedus:" Tensions are growing ever more between galactic powers. War is on the brink it seems. The Empire wishes to expand its borders, however, other powers are doing the same. Soon the borders will collide it seems. While it is now unclear if Hammond could win a war against the rest of the galaxy, it is clear that he will seek to break down friendly relations between the other factions. Devide and conquer is his stratagem. What none of them seem to see my masters is the bigger threat. Their pride and own ambitions must be laid to the side for now. For if war does come, the winner of this power struggle will not matter. The sith lurk in the dark as they did before the ancient sacking of Coruscant during the Great War...They lurk there still. I fear when the sith return, there will be no one left to fight them."

Caedus finished and took his seat. Master Dryfus nodded to Sadow.

Dryfus: "The young master brings up a valid point, conflict now must be stopped. Any rash decisions by anyone, and it will tip the scale of fate. Master Sadow...you will go to Salanda. Speak for the Order in this matter. Keep this bloodshed from happening.:

Caedus stood and bowed before the council.

Caedus: "I will do what you ask of me."

Talia walked back from the countryside of Tython and back to the Temple, walking through the gates. There was numerous scattered groups of people walking and talking, usually Master and Padawan, but also occasionally groups of friends. She continued walking, calmly looking around and taking in the fresh air. With the summer season at it's hottest, the ventilation systems in the Jedi Temple had broken of course, they wouldn't break any other time but now. The temple was an unusual sight, where usually it would be curved and smooth, it was jagged with the opened windows and doors on multiple levels. Balconies had doors left open and many people seemed to be choosing to walk along those rather than the main internal corridors so they could get some air. Talia didn't really want to go inside, but she knew she had to. She had been out meditating when she received a call from a friend saying a courier had arrived with a parcel, something unexpected and strange. Tython was a mostly isolated planet, far from the galactic reaches. This courier whoever he or she was, had found out where to take the parcel, gotten through the numerous security checks and placed it within the temple. She thought about this as she approached the two great open doors, but the tightening atmosphere from within the temple as she entered soon brought her back to reality. This hallway wasn't so bad, it had a high roof and was quiet cool, but it did have a glass roof and that was bringing in the warmth. Walking forwards, she found as the rooms narrowed, and they obviously did, it got harder and harder to not think about going out to get a gasp of air. When she entered her room however, she realised that it was slightly better than outside her door, obviously the ventilation had worked in her room with it sealed, now it was cooler and wasn't that hard to breathe clearly.

Walking to the parcel, she opened it up and found a box, it was a simple wooden one, although such ones were hardly ever seen. Opening the cover carefully, she lifted it to it's side and peered inside. Carefully holding it with both hands, she drew up a huge purple crystal. It was larger than a standard lightsaber crystal, and had an almost cloudy appearance. Light travelled through quiet easily but it still had a strong purple appearance. Holding it, she could not determine what type of crystal it was, it wasn't a standard one and it seemed to echo differently in the force. When she held it however, she felt herself change, this made her uneasy at first and she quickly put it back in the box. Looking at it however, she continued to get these strange feelings, her connection to the force began to light up and glow, gently increasing it's awareness with each heartbeat. Covering the box up didn't work, but she found gaining some distance from it did. As such, she went outside and to the nearest balcony to get some air, before thinking about the strange parcel she had been sent. Who had sent it? What crystal was it? Why was she feeling so different after she held it? These questions plagued her mind, nothing had warned her in meditation and she was curious about why someone would send such an object to her. She wasn't really that well known, she had briefly known the Empress of the Coalition and helped a few other leaders so far on various missions, but it wasn't like she was familiar with most governments either. She was one of the quieter Jedi Knights of the Order. Deciding there was only one thing to be done, she figured it would be best to approach one of the Council members and ask for their opinion on the object.
