A small group of starships centered around an Interdictor Vessel. It's gravity wells had power flowing through them and after a few days of waiting, intelligence had proven themselves into somehow finding out about the convoy set to go through this part of space. It's destination seemed to be somewhere around the Korriban region but that was matters for the Jedi, they had 'business' there. Once the convoy was slowed down and back into real space, two carrier's launched their fighter squadrons from the rear of the convoy and the warships which included a Mon Calamari Cruiser began to manuever in front of the convoy's vector.
OOC: I'm not planning on making this anything vital or important, just something to liven up this place.

Within minutes the convoy had been swarmed and smaller frigates and destroyer's of the Republic's Navy had broken the formation. Now the defending ships was finding themselves outmatched and drifting further away from each other, giving themselves less covering fire. Within eight minutes since the start of the battle, transport ships began to dock with the convoy's supply ships and marines jumped aboard. Fire fights began to break out amongst numerous ships while they were getting surrounded and hammered. The Republic Marine's soon found themselves taking control of the supply ships one-by-one and the small cruisers and destroyer's meant to defend them were now beginning to surrender or die in a last ditch escape effort. It had been a small but pleasant victory for the Republic Navy, showing that they could successfully employ hit-and-run tactics within occupied territories. The prisoner's of war had been transferred amongst numerous ships in the squadron and all began to head to Kashyyyk, the temporary staging area for the crisis.
