The 1st Imperial Battlegroup formed alongside Imperial Command Group Sigma, 3rd Invasion Battlegroup, 2nd Imperial Support Group and the 6th Hunter Battalion. Kuat was between Carida and Corellia in relation to the Imperial Coalition's main front with the Galactic Empire. War hadn't reached her borders yet, but soon would. At the head of the Sigma Fleet, was Admiral Dju-Lang. He was a near-human from the edge of the Empire's homeland. Although barely within Imperial borders, he had built up a reputation for himself as a capable and trusted leader. He didn't have a unique flare, he didn't have luck repeatedly on his side, what he did have however was dedication. The Imperial High Command had put him into several serious and challenging conditions and he came through successfully, he was able to meet the modern demands the Imperial Navy faced and overcome them.
It was for this reason that he had been assigned to invade the Imperial Coalition, he had not made a major failure so far, so his superiors expected him to do the task efficiently. Kuat being of such immense strategic value to the Empire would be where he would launch his invasion, if the Imperial Coalition did a pre-emptive strike then they would chew on more than they could handle. In a few days time he had been advised to begin his operations.

Admiral Dju-Lang began issuing his Operational Plan to the other officers of the fleet. He had gathered them together whether in this conference room or in the form of an holo projection. In the middle of the curved table was a huge map of the region, showing the borders of the Imperial Coalition, the Black Moon, the Mandalorians, Hapes and the Galactic Empire. There was many neutral star systems between these great powers, but influence spread further than a line and Dju-Lang knew this.
"I have assigned this plan for Operation Voxyn's Claw. The Imperial High Command asked me to devise a plan which would damage the ability of the Jedi Order to co-operate with the Imperial Coalition. This is on top of our main objective to seize valuable territory in the region. To do this, I have set the following directives. With the help of Moff Valshul in Corellia, his forces will move to take the lightly fortified planet of Nubia, bringing the Corellian Sector completely under our control. At the same time, Moff Valshul will clear out Coalition forces on the isolated planet of Sarapin, a planet of industrial importance. Doing this will clear out the rear for our invasion, which will commence at the same time".
Admiral Dju-Land pressed a few buttons and a series of arrows with strategic icons showing each fleet animated themselves. "From Kuat, Imperial Command Group Sigma will take Humbarine and Commenor with the 6th Hunter Battalion. Meanwhile, this distraction should allow the 3rd Invasion Battlegroup to clear through the minefields at Telti. Once occupied and advancing on the planets of Ambria, Merson and Zeltos, the 2nd Imperial Support Group will clear through another corridor in the minefields and begin resupplying the Battlegroup. From this point, forces will be sent to Umbara, Tholatin. Reinforcements from Sneeve and Chalacta are expected but once overun, they will retreat towards Salanda or Gyndine. Those remaining planets can be easily occupied and finally we can begin the next Operation, Voxyn's Venom".
The meeting continued for the next two and a half hours, but afterwards, Admiral Dju-Lang and his staff returned to their posts. The fleet would move out tomorrow.

With a simple message, Admiral Dju-Lang was made aware of Moff Valshul was making his move. He was in his quarters, getting some sleep, but with the message he awoke and began opening channels to the various captains and others in charge of ships across all four fleets. "This is Admiral Dju-Lang, we have confirmation that our rear guard is now going to action. I want all ships to begin their jumps in two hours from now, that should give us the surprise we need". A series of salutes came from dozens of miniture holograms before disappearing, Dju-Lang shuddered slightly from the cold and got back to getting some sleep.
