Out from the New Republic command centre for the operations in the system, a shuttle filled with important advisers and diplomats headed through the void of space towards the Mandalorian-held territories. They were well away from the border and was in no danger of crossing the line, but the request was sent out anyway. 'Diplomats on behalf of the New Republic request a meeting with the Mandalorian Commander for this region'.

Delso was watching the military formations down on the planet of onderon. It was once their planet, and maybe it would be again. But his thoughts on the matter were interupted by a holoimage of a lower ranking Republic official who seemed to be spouting requests to a Mandalorian General. Delso, insulted and angered turned away and motioned for one of his leutinants sp? to address them.
"Clearly you do not know how to address a mandalorian general, but General Delso does feel you may prove to be.....useful. We will accept your team to the flagship in 0100 time." Com line cut...

Although the first mistake had been made, the transport continued onwards without escort. It would take a rather long time to get to the Mandalorian Fleet, but the diplomat's was sure that they could now discover what the Mandalorian intentions was for the region. Sending back a signal to the fleet, with news of the Mandalorian General and that they had been accepted to meet with them.
------------------------
By 01:02, the transport carrying the Diplomat's was positioned just beyond the Mandalorian Fleet. 'This is Republic Transport Aloso. Requesting permission to dock and meet with General Delso of the Mandalorian Territories[/color][/i]'. With that sent, the diplomats awaited a reply.

Comm in. "This is Mando Shadowcruiser flagship Omen. You have been authrized to land in the diplomatic/guest docking bay 249."
Delso headed for the turbolift. He had Decided to show his contempt for their obvious slacking in manners by sending one of his underlings to fetch them and bring them to the conference room. He decided that he shouldn't be too rude for the sake of diplomacy. As the door opened to the conference room he took a seat at the head of the table.

An Imperial fleet made the jump out of hyperspace between the Onderon and Dxun defenses, narrowly missing the short range scanners of both systems.
Remnant Admiral Deckarr was observing his hopeless tactical situation from the transparisteel viewport at the bridge. It is good this is a diplomacy mission. He thought as he watched the military forces from both sides of this "delicate situation". His military force was much higher trained than that of the Alliance but their sheer numbers would have defeated his single fleet that, on the other hand the mandalorians both outnumbered him and had superior fighting skill. "Orders." he spat. "We are not to engage the enemy, this is strictly a diplomatic mission. I have my orders from Xizar himself. He has a new found confidence in our new.....ally..."

Walking into the conference room, eight New Republic representatives began to take seats. At the opposite side of the table to the Mandalorian General, sat Dak'ka Nu'anso. "First of all, I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding between our parties earlier this evening." Began Dak'ka, "My staff hadn't realized that the situation in this system had called upon a Military Commander of such high rank to be present".

Delso nodded in acceptance to this...commander...but he did not give them the honor of removing any of his adornments much less his helmet.
"And what is our 'situation' commander? Perhaps you know something that i do not just as i know something that you do not. Things such as that there is a Remnant fleet who separates you from your people and who will be joining us shortly. Now, back to your statement. There is no stragetic reason that a Mando'a General should be on Dxun. It is where i make my home and.....for the sake of that nasty idea called politics let's just say that this moon is much more than just a training ground for our armies."
As soon as the General had finished his last sentence the comm ring in the center of the negotiation table produced a man clad in Mandalorian armour. "My Lord, the Remnant transport ship is on route and will be here in ten minutes time. We will have them sent to the conference room." "Our other guests will be arriving soon."

This was an unexpected move, the team had gone to meet the Mandalorian's in the hope of securing a loyal word that nothing was going on here, but now with the Remnant on their way, it seemed that this situation was going to be far more delicate. "General Delso, may i ask why the Empire is coming so far away from their own territories?" Began Dak'ka asked politely.

Delso smiled from behind the dark visor of his helmet. "Ah, a just question. I confess their nature eludes me as well but Mandalore has given me strict orders to remain neutral to all." He paused for a moment to examine the situation and to choose his wording carfully.
"Tell me representative Dak'ka, how am i and my people to appear neutral if i grant the alliance an audience but not the remnant?....Politics is an exact art the we Mandalorians are sickened by, but we seem to have a leg up on you and your staff do we not?" he asked cunningly. Besides...this was the best way to see everyone's perspective.

Ignoring the trick question, Dak'ka announced a statement to the Mandalorian. "Although you may seem to have the upper hand, you should remember that your presence hasn't gone unnoticed in this region. The Empire's appearance brings up too many questions for us, and will seem to confirm suspicions for many in our government. So answer me this General, if the Mandalorian's do not have any plans for expansion in this region, then why are you and more importantly, your fleet, scouting throughout the borders of Republic space?" This was a question which would make the General choose his words carefully, if he didn't, he could risk admitting to spying or even worse, the build up of forces. This time, Dak'ka had the advantage of knowing what had been happening in this region the last couple of weeks.

Dekarr: "Sharp tongues do not usually fare well against Mandalorian guns..."
Admiral Sha Dekarr walked through the transparisteel doors of the heavily adorned, heavily guarded, negotiation chambers of Shadowcruiser Omen. His eyes rested on old friends and all to frequently old enemies. Dekarrs own personal guard filed in behind him and took their seats as did he.
Dekarr:"..Yet I too wonder why the Mandalorian Empire presumes to stick their proud noses into Remnant space."
He finished turning to face the General.

"You should not think it wise to threaten a Mando'a General aboard his own flagship, and you may spare me your Alliances self-rightous sp? praise diplomat. You and your friends from the remnant seem to think that we are no more than witless barbarians looking for a war to fight. " Delso spoke calmly. "So... for an answer to your question. Perhaps we are planning to expand our empire and rule the galaxy as you and your 'politicians' believe, or perhaps we are only taking precautions after finding stealth cruisers in Mandalore space with Alliance markings on them. Have we come to an understanding diplomat?"
His words were sharp, but sincere and unaltered.

Dak'ka was now a little taken back, he knew of no operation in Mandalorian Space and couldn't take the risk of backing down just because of something the general could have made up. "I know nothing of this, before you persuade me that my government is invading your territories, i would like to see evidence. Besides, if what our friends in the Galactic Empire say is correct, you too have been scouting out regions beyond your control, which confirms what we in the Republic have also reported, what is your reason for this?".

Delso was boiling with anger. Such insolence. Either the alliance needed to be reminded of the respect that he and his people used to command, or this was simply a bad representative of the alliance. He had a decision to make...Very well he thought to himself
Delso nodded at one of his guards who threw the dog tags of an alliance special forces member onto the table. Then the general sat back in his chair and stared at the representative piercingly.

Dekarr stared down that the tags for a moment. This was clearly a warning and a direct threat to the Remnant and all of those living under Xizars iron fist.
Dekarr: "This showing of brutality may or may not excuse your intrusion of Alliance territory, it still does not make it permissible for your men to make appearances in Remnant space. We are remerging as an empire just as you are and cannot afford any mistakes. Correct me if i'm mistaken but i do not believe you can either."
He said pointedly to the general. The only faction at full strength right now was the alliance, not that the remnant or the mandos to his knowlege were far behind.
