The image of Dan appeared on the holonet screen. "Good day, citizens of the galaxy. I am Grand Admiral Zorko of the Black Moon Pirates. I come to you with an official announcement.
"A few years ago, the Black Moon Pirates started off as a small ragtag band of ships, with our most powerful ship being a single Imperial II- class Star Destroyer. Over the years, we have grown in not only ship numbers and territory, but also in power and understanding. Our numbers now exceed the millions. We have a full armada of warships. We enjoy good relations with most governments within the Galaxy, most notably the Imperial Coalition, who I have developed a strong personal friendship with their leader, Jalua Solast, whose father had help save the Black Moon Pirates in its darkest times.
"So from this day on, we are no longer the little rabble that used to stalk shipping lanes. From this day forth, we are no longer the Black Moon Pirates, we are Black Moon, a full government, and we expect to be recognized as such. Thank you." With that, his image faded.
