The Empress' shuttle descended through the atmosphere, down to the planet's one true city. The place was dark and almost deserted, but their arrival would likely raise attention, bringing out those she sought to destroy.
Standing around the shuttle, the Special Forces in their modified armour and Jalua in her own, with lightsaber at the ready, they awaited the incoming onslaught. It took a couple of minutes, but a security team entered, with guns at the ready. Within seconds they were down, and Jalua had catapulted herself into the air, among the security force and had already spun around, lightsaber ignited, slicing through the flesh of all the team. Spinning her lightsaber back into vertical position, she began to step back, away from the doors. It was a wise move, another two squads emerged from the blast doors, all weapons firing. Jalua spun her lightsaber in front of her, making a sort of deflective disc. Jalua continued like this until she reached the special forces behind her, after which she ducked and allowed them to fire and eliminate the remaining elements of the two squads.
Jalua's purple lightsaber shone brightly before her, illuminating her face as she walked down the darkened corridor, scanning the route ahead. The soldiers behind her, fell into two columns, walking at the same pace but with a clear view either side of her. The shuttle was still being piloted by loyal crew members who stayed on the ship, armed with the shuttle's own defences and their side arms.

Jalua and the others continued down the corridor, until they found one of the security team who had run away from the fight somehow. He was banging at a door, shouting at a camera for whoever was on the other end to open it for him. He glanced back and became more desperate, until Jalua reached him. She grabbed the back of his head with her hand, and threw him into the side of the corridor. He slumped to the floor of the corridor, and she knelt down in front of him. "Who sent you to kill us?" she whispered to him, but only muffled cries escaped his lips. Jalua blew out a long sigh before standing fully and looked at the camera. She glared her eyes at the device, staring back at her face, before it exploded with a bright light. With her hands at her sides, and in a slightly tensed position, her hands gathered all the force energy they could and then unleashed the barrage upon the blast door. It caved in with a long drawn growl of bending durasteel before finally falling, revealing a short corridor with three rooms on either side. One was obviously the security centre because of the two guards who ran out of the one room, but were shot dead by the special forces, who then began to clear each room. Jalua entered the security office and with a flash of lightning, flung a waiting guard into the monitors while the other spinning on her chair suddenly had it move back from him, causing him to fall flat on his face.
Knowing what she wanted from the footage they had just watched, Jalua stamped her foot down on his back, making him unable to lift himself up. "I know where they are" he said, glancing at the monitors, which Jalua's gaze followed, to see a soldier standing before the security guard she had previously beaten and shooting him through the head. His body bounced off the floor before a spillage of blood began to gradually appear around his head and then sliding further across the floor towards the other side of the corridor. With his boots stained, the soldier walked back into the passage way and then into the security office, the drips of blood hitting the floor making an incredibly erie noise. His footprints also proved it was him. The security officer began to tremble, but a bit of extra force from Jalua's boot held him in place. "They are watching our cameras, they've been giving us orders over the radio" he said before getting shot. Jalua looked at the soldier, one of the two who wasn't part of the special forces, who had noticed a thermal detonator being unplugged from his chest rig. Walking to the radio, Jalua placed it to her mouth and looked up at a corner camera, pointing at her.
"Run" she said simply, before the camera got yanked from the wall and slammed into the opposite panel, smashing it into pieces which fell onto the growing spillage of blood in the room. With that, Jalua and the others began searching the bodies. After getting the information they needed, they headed to the shuttle. "Ziost" said one of the special forces soldiers, "They will know we are coming". Jalua nodded, stopping short of boarding the craft. "I want us to hit them in force. Tell the Enlightenment that we will need the Special Forces Support Group to meet us thirty light years from Ziost, nearest vantage point from the Coalition". The soldier nodded and turned his back, kneeling down and talking into the radio. Meanwhile, the special forces securing the area in a circle began to fall in to the ramp of the shuttle and boarded, covering each other in a leapfrog tactic. Jalua also boarded the shuttle, but before indicating to the waiting pilots that she was ready to take off, she turned to the two other soldiers. "You don't have to fight this, it will be dangerous. Once we get to the fleet, you can head back to your regiments, but what you have seen here is secret, no mentioning any of this to anyone" Jalua ordered and offered, waiting to see the soldier's response. They wasn't special forces, but they were part of the Royal Household and had gone through a little more training than the usual Elite Paratroopers. Unknowingly, she offering the choice of staying and going to Dan Zorko too.

Dan shifted on his right foot slightly. "I'm staying." he said firmly, looking to see the response of the other.

Jalua nodded, turning to the other who responded immediately. "I'm going" he replied. Jalua didn't bat an eyelid, she just walked past the two and indicated with her hand that she wanted the pilots to take the shuttle up. They got to work and within a few seconds, the shuttle was going high into the air, back to the Enlightenment.
