An element of the 1st Royal Support Group arrived outside of the planet's atmosphere with a single Nebula-class Star Destroyer providing fleet protection and an operational headquarters. Sarapin was a planet deep within the Core Worlds, and it was beginning to form the outer reaches of Coalition Territory. It was an industrial jewel, a former Republic jewel in fact. With the defence of Coruscant it had been stripped of it's defences and Coruscant had also been the main distraction for the Imperial Remnant, leaving this world free for occupation.
It was a stroke of luck, with a route connecting Sarapin to Commenor which would be invaded soon, the Imperial Coalition would have a border across both the Hydian Way and the Perlemian Trade Route. This would be a valuable asset and provide a continued influence across the galactic spectrum.
With the planet free from the occupation of any other faction, the Imperial Coalition got lucky and it's forces began to descend to the planet's surface and secure the industrial havens.
