Caedus had been making his way to the security offices of the palace. He had just got finished explaining how he wanted the security shifts taken, and that he wanted all camera feeds to be wired to his room as well as the main sec. office. He was heading toward the guard post at the main entrance to present the security officers with their new rounds when he overheard bits of Dan and Jalua's conversation. "Sneaking away from me so soon?" Caedus chuckled.

"No no" Jalua said, surprised to see Caedus. He had a habit of doing that lately. "I need a rest and I'm sure the both of you two do as well. So, how about we go there? Nobody will recognise us with a change of clothes, at least not with them being hooked on deathsticks". Jalua got up and walked over to a section of the wall. "There is something I guess you might need to know", mainly talking to Caedus but also to Dan. She tapped a piece of the wall and it revealed a door which slid to the side. "Come on through, I'll give you a tour of my bunker". She walked into the small area and waited for the other two to come in, the door closed and sealed automatically behind them. In the room was basically nothing but star destroyer standard plating and a corner full of terminals and other computer equipment. "This shows me everything going on, from inside the palace to the far reaches of the Coalition. I can access any information i want and also coordinate the smallest of orders to the largest". She then pointed to the ladder which was in the top right of the room. Climbing down, she entered a larger room with a table and chairs in the middle, a cabinet which looked like it had previously been used for plates. Instead, it was filled with weapons and ammunition for them. "Here i have everything from blasters to portable missile launchers. Everything necessary to defend yourself is here and in that wardrobe over there is things like body armour, helmets, civilian clothing, passports for different star systems and locations of stashed weapons, vehicles, starfighters, cash, clothing, food, everything basically". She then headed through the small doorway, where they headed into a corridor which seemed to be decorated like the rest of the palace. "In case intruders do get in, this looks like any other part of the palace. There is dummy rooms filled with misleading information and everything found in the rooms surrounding this corridor, like the guard's quarters. She then didn't head to the door straight down the corridor, but instead, the wall next to the right. That also slid open. "This corridor is what you should use, the layout of this area is made to look like a dead-end, in style with the other areas of the palace like this". Jalua continued downwards, leading them further through the palace and then surprisingly into a room with two doors. "The door on the left leads to an underground passage which stretches out of the palace and contains several exits through the city and beyond. This door however, contains the Operational Control Centre". She opened the door and immediately had a full scan from eye or fingers. "Allow two humanoids" she commanded and indicated for them to follow, a series of machinery automatically did the same to them and registered their id's onto the system. The door behind them closed and finally, the door ahead of them opened, into the control centre. "If anyone tries to get in or out, toxins come into that room and it seals them inside. That's why there is those scans, but here is the best bit". The room had in total twelve terminals with operators on all of them. "These are on the record for being part of the starfighter repairs team, but they come here every day in varying shifts. They assess intelligence like the MCAV does and does what is needed, a lot of background work. They can get into pretty much any system running in Coalition space from civilian to military. They issue orders from existing officers, allow spies to get through security checkpoints and carry out their objectives, they do basically everything. They are called FireKnight, and this is FireKnight One. There is others dotted throughout the galaxy, but i only know their leading officers, I don't know where they are located or what they are doing right now. Some in the military see them as special forces, some in the medical sectors know them as advanced scientists, this team can go anywhere and be anyone. If you need to get anything from a patrol out of your area or a power grid to fail, these are your people".

Dan whistled. "I gotta get me one of these." waving his hands, indicating the bunker itself. I noticed you had a suit of AVALON armor and a MORDRED launcher back there... I don't even want to know how you got it, but remind me to check inventory when I get back to Lok. So has this place ever been needed before?" he asked.

"The bunker itself hasn't but this room is always occupied. FireKnight was made to make sure nothing goes completely one way in the galaxy, they work in the background. FireKnight does it own thing mainly, but it does respond to me personally if I need anything". One of the operators from the far corner of the room got up and walked over, looking disappointed with the Empress. "I thought I told you not to bring anyone down here" he said, obviously not caring who he was speaking to. "In case your wondering, this is Da-", "I know who they are" he snapped back. "I was the one who sent in the supply transport for his mission on Fresia". Jalua looked at Caedus and then at Captain Qur'ak. "You know him?" she asked, amazed that FireKnight would decide to work with the Jedi Order. "No, he had information which stopped the illegal experiments. Plus, I needed to know how to duplicate the cells in such vast quantities at a time" he muttered. "If you breathe a word of this place, I'll make sure you live to regret it. We can't have people knowing about what we do, or what we can do" he said, turning to Dan and Caedus. Qur'ak walked away and then came back with a datachip. "On here is where Nubai is sending his forces next, all of his escape routes and his bases. I have a copy waiting to send to General Delso's crew from one of his Colonel's who really deserves a promotion, i can't keep him waiting much longer".

"Thank you." said Dan, and took the chip. "I will take that for now." He slipped it into the pocket of his jacket. He then grabbed the man by the scruff of his shirt, lifted him, turned, and slammed him into the wall behind them. Leaning in closely, he growled "And if your breath is used to speak to myself, the Jedi, or especially the Empress in that rude of a manner again, I will personally make sure you regret it. You don't know what I have done, or what I can do." Still glaring at him, he stepped back and dropped the man, who fell in a heap in front of him. Wordlessly, he handed the chip to Jalua.

"Admiral please..." Caedus said pleadingly. He watched as the mangled figure fell to the floor. He had also noticed the avalon armour set earlier. It was quite impressive, and it reminded him of something. He turned quickly to both Dan and Jalua. I am not yet aware of Mandalore's intentions, but they do have something for the both of you. If we are done here i suggest you follow me to my quarters. I trust your men have moved it there by now."

Jalua turned to Dan to see if he had any answers to what it might be, "Ok" she said, unsure of what to expect. Following Caedus, she headed back, stopping just outside the room. "So then, what is it?" she said as she entered.

"Dan mentioned armor...well these prototypes just arrived from Mandalore." Caedus moved quickly into the room. He proceeded to one corner that had an armour casing. The jedi quickly typed in the code. As he finished the door to the casing opened to reveal a suit of assualt armor. "You feel safer now i trust knowing that your newest ships have been coated with beskar metal....Imagine if you will...your soldiers wearing it into battle." Caedus could not help but grin, even though he hoped they would never be used. He waited for their reaction before continuing.

Dan walked around the armor and examined it. "Impressive. I must say, if there's one thing the Mandos know how to do right is to produce armor. Though I must ask, what's different from this armor and other Mando suits that makes it still a prototype?"

"Former armour suits were made from small pieces of beskar in key areas if they were lucky. Most armour was made of heavy durasteel. According to my informants, this set is made of one hundred percenct beskar metals. But what makes it a prototype you ask? Small internal repulsars make the armour lighter to manuver in. From my understanding they even carved the elbow and knee joints out of beskar. Imagine the quility of heavy armour but the flexibility of a much lighter set." Caedus said demonstrating the joint flexibility. "The jedi order has purchased a large shipment of these suits....slightly modified ofcourse. (Think about the armor from the old republic that the jedi wore in the deception video) Mandalore offers the both of you ten sets each as a gift, however any additional will cost you. Beskar is what keeps the Mandalorians one of the wealthiest Empire's in the galaxy."

"10 suits?" asked Dan. "That is most gracious of him. I accept his gift. Please give him my deepest thanks if you happen to be in contact with him before I am." He looked at the armor again. "100% Beskar metal... This is going to be extremely useful." He looked at Jalua. "And even better for you, considering it's resistant to lightsabers." He looked at it some more. "I just may have to talk to Mandalore about arranging more suits for my troops."

Jalua agreed, nodding her head and already trying out a suit. It was remarkably light, but by the touch of it you could sense how solid it actually was. It even to some degree seemed to absorb touches, which must be a real advantage against kinetic energy. She finished with the chest plate and the rest of the armour, looking to the doorway. "I'll be back in a moment" she said, jogging back to her room where she picked up her helmet. It was styled to communicate perfectly with her original suit, but the Mandalorians were makers of advanced armour, and she knew with the proper connections, her helmet would be able to completely assist her in controlling the armour and all of it's functions. Heading back with her helmet firmly in place, she got back and showed the others. The helmet was a different colour to the rest of the suit, but other than that, it looked completely unique. "The helmet will require a re-spray but otherwise i love it. I'll get this connected up properly and it will put my old suit to dust".

"I would do well to tell Mandalore that you are pleased then?" Caedus asked now moving toward his communicator. "I will have your other nine unloaded and placed where you desire. Your royal guard i would dare presume?" He then turned to dan. "Master Zorko, shall i have yours transported to Taris?"

"Lok would be great." said Dan. "I haven't been able to get back to Taris yet, with everything that has happened lately. Just give them to Admiral Clemence of the 1st fleet, he'll hold them until I return."
