Dan groaned. "This day gets better and better. Hold on a sec." He activated his comm. "Admiral Duke, contact the 5th. Find out their situation and what we're facing." A few seconds later, the reply came. "Ok, thanks. Standby and be ready to move." He shut off the comm. "Yup. Our white cloaked figure and the dark jedi."

"Would it be okay if I come with you to find these two? I'm sure your forces are quite capable but with that Dark Jedi, I think you may have a bit of trouble. So how about I bring a friend with me who will no doubt be much more helpful to us?" Price asked Dan, starting to get a lot of respect for the so called 'pirate'.

Captain Price walked with the friend to the hangerbay where he walked aboard a shuttle, destination, Bespin. With the two sat down in the shuttle, it began to rise and lift towards the sky, heading out on it's trajectory.
OOC: Continue this at Bespin?

Deep in the sealed bunker below the palace, the room was a hive of activity. Studying information and documents on the new information which had been gathered from within the Imperial Remnant, they had invited someone who knew a lot about force users to assist them. "These trained soldiers will no doubt be in small numbers, not more than a hundred I would say" the old man said, which was followed by the nodding of several people from intelligence. One of them, a man with blonde hair neatly cut and a dark grey cap on his head stepped forwards a little so those gathered around the table could hear him clearly. "By keeping them under their control, we believe they will have no doubt attached some altering devices onto their bodies. We won't know what they are, but they will somehow have an affect on the user. Therefore, it would be a good possibility that they are at some point limited, which means also means it will be possible to eventually find a weakness in this method. Once that is achieved, we will be able to re-take the upper hand". "Good," responded an ageing General who was barely standing straight, he eventually resorted to leaning on the table for better balance. "Inform the Jedi Order of our findings and i want more information about this to be fed to my office. Otherwise, keep it within this room, we will not want any of our assets being discovered. That will be all" he said with a slow turn and heading back towards a special chair designed to help strengthen his back.

With the Talons Revenge and the Coalition shuttle freshly out of hyperspace, the Coalition shuttle and Dans Lambda shuttle landed outside of the palace. Dan descended the ramp and waited for Admiral Price.

Admiral Price walked out, in front of two soldiers who was constantly pushing the informant to follow. Eventually he did and Price turned to him. "Where now?" he asked, looking around them. "To the south wall" he said, leading the way after a shove of encouragement with a marine's rifle. He staggered forwards, obviously in pain, the short distance to the wall, and walked alongside it. Following with a questioning glance at Dan, Price wondered what the man was doing until finally, he stopped. "What is it?" Price asked at the informant who was now touching several of the blocks of stone with his hands, in a seemingly random pattern. Not replying, the man continued until he finally felt what he was looking for. With a push at the top left corner of one stone, it slightly moved inwards. What happened before them was strange. There was some sort of metal panel in the street, looked like it was a works entrance to the sewers, except it had seperated in half and a bad excuse for a lift appeared. It had a curved bar from one side to the other, where people could stand underneath. The man did so and summoned the others to follow. Standing on the lift, the man pressed a small button on the side of the bar and the lift descended slowly into the ground.
Price was amazed at the sight when they finally appeared from the cavern ceiling. The huge gap in the earth contained a small river which passed through the middle, with a wooden bridge connecting both sides, a small settlement had been built. There was no sign of activity but the soft glow coming from the outsides of several buildings lit up the various paths between them. The man got off the lift first, and the others followed him down a series of streets to a single building. Pulling aside the curtain door, the man cleared some things off a table and showed them a map. "This is what i use to get there. We need to go to these coordinates, then head to the middle of these seven stars. It needs to be precise though, because its a four parsac distance so the wrong angle will lead you light years from any route. Once there, you will see the mining station on your sensors". Price looked over at the plans and took a look at all the distances. "That's what it says here. I still don't get what this place is here for". The man turned to Admiral Price and with a smug grin, replied. "No, your not of sufficient authority. We built this because we were funded by the Empress to do her dirty work. Even if the Palace gets blown up, this will remain with any important documents she would want hidden. We even have somewhere a route which leads from her underground bunker to here. I don't think anyone knows where the route comes out though, possibly just herself, but it leads into here somewhere". The man was babbling, but Price saw why the Empress would want a criminal organisation which could do her bidding without making herself or the Coalition get unwanted attention. What was clear however, was that this cavern was no longer occupied, this man had obviously slept in this house, but the rest of the inhabitants had moved off, probably to this mining station. "Right then" Price said, handing the rolled up plans to Dan. "I'll assemble what forces i can". "You won't make it far, they will know when you arrive who you are" the man said with a snigger, but Price simply nodded to a soldier who shot him with a stun charge. "I'll send in a probe droid ahead of us, to make sure there are no hidden surprises". Price walked back towards the lift, and took another look at the facility as the lift raised itself into the gap in the ceiling of the cavern. He would make a note of this place, it could be useful.

Empress Jalua awoke to the sound of birds singing. It took her a moment to realise where she was, her bed was comfy, especially compared to the cold durasteel flooring which had been her home for the last three weeks. During her sleep, the force had been kind to her. Her wounds were beginning to heal, even those where the torturers had used blades to re-open healing wounds. She was sure that with a couple of hours healing per day, she would appear like nothing had happened.
Jalua eventually exited her bedroom, now fully clothed, and walked down a couple of corridors to the entrance to this portion of the palace dedicated to her. There was of course, a couple of officers behind desks, a couple of soldiers on guard duty at the door, but otherwise it was very quiet. Jalua walked from one side of the room to the other, entering another corridor until finally she entered a small room which she used to watch holonet channels, speak with others in comfort and generally relax. On her way, she had thought about when would be the right time to show her people that she had returned, but she first needed at least a day extra to rest. Sitting down, she turned on the holonet and immediately saw news broadcasts saying that rumours were saying she had been rescued, although of course, there was no proof of that. Plenty of people from the 9th Imperial Task Force knew of the mission they faced, most of the marines hadn't even been deployed but were on the fleet so casually knew what they might be called upon to do. She caught up on the news, something she usually did daily until finally she decided that she would begin her healing process. Sitting in a meditation position, she lifted her hands and focused on the force, something she had been blocked from using for weeks. It immediately began to take effect before the healing process even began. Her back straightened. Her lungs relaxed. Her heartbeat followed. Her face lifted and each and every cell in her body suddenly got an overdose of goodness. Something which would no doubt seem strange to others was the healing. It wasn't a blue light emitting from her hands like many of the public believed in the fairytale holobooks, but instead the effect could be seen on her skin. Her wounds closed together, a scab appeared within a few seconds and the body released it's healing toxins into the skin tissue which were on overdrive with the energy boost they were getting. The skin began re-attaching itself and flesh under the skin began moving back to it's original forms. Bruises began to go darker as the flesh began to heal, but soon became fainter until finally, there was only slight circles where she had sustained the brunt of the injuries. Although she still had scars, cuts and bruises, she was now looking a bit more human, no longer a walking zombie.

Caedus had landed on Salanda a few days previous. He had been scouring the city...but for what he did not exactly know. The council had requested his prescence on Salanda. The jedi knight spent most of his time in the underground trading for information about the latest plans from the Empire or the Mandalorians. It was dirty work but it was necessary. The recent turmoil with the Imperials, it was only logical to keep tabs on their business. As for the Mando'ade, their history says enough. Despite their acts to change, they dind keep in touch with the Order enough to fully gain their trust. Caedus thought the Councils view of the Mandos rubbish, however, he would follow orders when given to him.
Two Days Later
He laft the nast inn he had been staying at in the underground. The Council knew that Solast was home, and asked him to check up on her naturally since Caedus was already on-planet. He approached the main doors of the palace where two guards stopped him. Guards: We are on Lock Down here sir. I suggest you leave.
"You will let me in. I am not a threat."
Guard: We will let you in. You are not a threat.
Caedus moved quickly. This would work best if he avoided detection.

The Palace was quiet, there was still a couple of hundred soldiers on station, but compared to the usual eight-hundred, it was a skeleton guard. Jalua herself was beginning to stir from another nap, but this time when she awoke, it was almost night. The gravity of this planet made her sleep patterns go mental, but at least she could sleep now. Jalua walked back towards the entrance, stretching slightly as she walked. It was then that she felt a presence, a strong presence. It was only for a faint moment however, and she could not determine who it was. For this reason, she decided to stay in the entrance area towards her throne room, where at least she would have company if whatever it was she felt, was a threat. She didn't alert the guards, she let them speak and began informal conversation with them, all the while listening to the force for another burst. Then she heard some words coming from behind the door, walking towards the door while the others were still chatting, she unclipped her lightsaber from her belt. This action did alert the guards, who stood away from the door quietly, turned to face it and readied their rifles. The officer behind the desk to her left also spoke quietly into a comm unit, they couldn't see anyone on the camera but obviously the guards on the other side had been speaking to someone. Jalua felt a strange echo in the force, it was like somebody was attempting to connect to another... the guards outside. She activated her lightsaber and opened the doors, holding it by her head vertically. The two guards outside of the door looked at her in surprise, not realising that she had been rescued and they were in fact, guarding her. They were also amazed by her weapon, which wasn't often seen, but did draw attention. Jalua's head turned from side to side, scanning for an intruder. Like a true Jedi, her eyes wasn't doing the work however, the force was showing her details beyond a normal person's imagination. It was then that she saw a hollow spot, the intruder was attempting to conceal themselves but this darkened the area they were in, in relation to the lights and shapes of the walls. A squad of four soldiers also came down, weapons at the ready, watching the Empress more than ahead to see where she had detected another presence.

Dan walked into the room from the opposite doorway. He had come to see how the Empress was doing after her harrowing ordeal, but was surprised to find her and a squad of guards at the ready at the opposite end of the room, seemingly facing him and his Reapers with rifles at the ready. He didn't bother to try to go for his rifle, just raised his hands to about shoulder height. His Reapers were confused, but did the same. "Uhhhhhh...." said Dan. "What is going on?"

Jalua looked around before finally turning off her lightsaber. For a few short moments, the soldiers and marines were looking down their scopes, but eventually lowered their weapons. Looking at Dan, she began to smile. Although she was scared and bruised by her torturers, she still had healed herself quite well at this point. Walking over, she hugged Dan tightly. "I'm so glad to see you" she said, relieved she had someone to talk to.

Jalua walked with Dan into the block of the palace reserved for herself. She breathed in deeply, relaxing the best she could, still aching from her remaining injuries. "Well I'm a lot better than how I was, still tired though" she said sheepishly. Her body was completely exhausted by the sleep she had the day earlier, but she was determined not to get into different sleeping patterns, it had been hard enough keeping them on this strange planet. "I wanted to speak to you about something actually. Who is this Admiral Kornos? He seems to be masterminding everything now".

Dan shrugged. "I don't know. I'm assuming Jsomething happened to John, and he died. We were about to get crushed at Bespin, and all of the sudden he comes out of nowhere and calls it all off. I don't know who he is, but he is at least sane. Which is a first for the imperials."
