Salanda was a relatively unknown planet for now. It's system was near Gyndine but had never been colonised, at least for the last few thousand years. Large cleaning stations had been established across the planet to produce the right mixture for breathing by Humans, who had the largest percentage of the Coalition Forces. Settlements had also begun to form in small clusters, boasting facilities required for a town to establish itself and also local council's to assist in the order and selling of lands for farming and houses.
The Capital of the planet was still small, but had great plans already in the making. It was situated on a mountain where the mount would hold the Royal Palace. That was still in construction but already noticeable features were beginning to arise. Surrounding this was a series of buildings for specific purposes, some to hold the Royal Guard, others for accommodation by the Royal Family and visitors from other factions. Surrounding these spacious and park-like areas was the Administrative District. It spiralled around with wide streets tall buildings, none of them coming even close to the mount however. Although most of the capital situated on the mountain itself would be on a slope, efforts were being made to reduce the impact or at least integrate parts of the structures into the mountain itself. Portions of buildings were carved into the mountain rock and sometimes entrances to buildings were at the top, while the buildings stretched down on a cliff face to save room. This pattern reproduced itself further and more frequently the further down the mountain you went.
Below the Administrative District was the first of the residencies. These were spacious in some areas, featuring the more park-like surroundings that could be found on the higher levels of the mountain, and also clusters of large buildings which were fitted out with the latest in technology and comfort available. These were expensive and luxurious, but would soon be snapped up by the more wealthier citizens in Coalition Territory. The continuous levels from this district downwards, were organised into spiralling rings. These carried a highway with also major roads with shops and centres spreading out of them, before finally reaching the houses. Most of the Capital's houses were luxurious by the planet's standards, but were also required to be. This was the capital which would be the spearhead to grow from, making a great presence on this planet and the surrounding systems. Much like Gyndine had gathered many new worlds into the Coalition, this would further spread it's influence.
A sister city was being built a third of the planet away to the west. A river-like ocean separated the two continents which were connected by a series of islands. It was almost possible to go across the ocean on man-made bridges, however, certain gaps were too time consuming to build, at least for now. These islands would be of further value in whatever designation was desired by the new councils. The sister city however, was on a high plane to decrease the chance of flooding and near a great lake which was separated from the ocean. While waterfalls and beaches surrounded the lake, the area itself was mostly made up of farming lands ready for people seeking a new start. The cheap prices also would encourage farmers from other areas to move in and own larger land. The only thing which was out of this agricultural society was another Royal Palace. This hooked to the inside of a waterfall, being mostly hidden away but still providing a luxurious residence for the Royal Family to stay at.
The sister city however was being named after a late Admiral of the Coalition who had died at Naboo. His name was Admiral Qu'Sar, and a great friend of Emperor Galor Iram. In honour, the city would have a large square named after him with a statue in the center. The city provided another purpose however, being able to expand far greater than the yet-to-be-named Capital of this world and the Coalition. This would provide a few luxurious and expensive apartments for the wealthier citizens, but this wasn't the prime target of the new developments. Instead, this city would provide the same opportunities but for those less wealthy and more common. With the city not being built on a grid, it would encourage more community-like culture and less chance for violence and gang territories to form out of the new citizens. Qu'Sar was going to be a great city, and would see much activity in the years to come.
