Faction Changes
At some point in the month, i hope to get the battle and tactics boards up and running properly. If you have any ideas, then please send them to me on how to get it going.
The Imperial Coalition will have a new territory board since it's territory is continuing to expand. Expansion will be limited in the following months while storylines change.
The Mandalorian Empire shall be placed under Admin Control unless someone suitable is found to lead the Empire. If you wish to have control, just send me a reply here. You will need to create a new character for this but don't worry about it for now, just let me know if your interested.
Staff Changes
Since some members of staff are becoming increasingly inactive, I shall be removing some of the powers and potentially within the following months offering increased powers to other members of the forum.
Advertising
Advertising is going extremely well lately, with unique visitors becoming a repeating event each day. Hopefully this will improve in time but this leads us onto the main problem of making the rpg more appealing.
Forum Maintenance
Several boards will be placed into territory sub-boards or hidden away from public viewing to make the forum load quicker and be more appealing. At the moment, the forum looks unfinished and i wish to change this.
If loading times are not improved drastically by hiding away some of our less popular boards, then I'm afraid images for many planets and organisations especially shall have to be removed from descriptions.
An idea occured to me regarding making the rpg more appealing, if you would like a specific board in the Info area for you to update information about your faction/character or just generally the rpg, then let me know. The plan would be to make it viewable to guests visiting the site with a link in the info centre showing them where to find this information. I'm wondering if the rpg seems too big for them to understand and hence they won't join? I don't believe advertising is a big problem anymore, we are getting more visitors than ever, it's just turning those into active members.
Also may i remind you that the General Board is a great place to chat with people of the forums. I know this happens occasionally but surely this should be a more daily occurance? I'll get around to posting some discussions but i believe this would also be a great advertising pointer, showing that we are having a great time.
