John had prepared himself early. He had several batallions surrounding the city, in case anything out of the ordinary ocurred. He had snipers in every building, and a dense cloud of fleets in the orbit. He wore a long black tunic, which hid most of his interior clothing. He wore no helmet, and instead had his brown/white hair combed to the side. He expected the funeral to begin soon.

Galor's body was placed in a large coffin marked with diamonds and gold. It would be positioned along the center wall of the memorial, only the surface being visible with it's bearer's name clearly visible. Jalua turned up at a similar time, not being able to see the coffin anywhere around the memorial. Guessing that it was already here at some place, she began to greet friends and relatives while waiting for the funeral to take place. The event, seeing some of her family which she only barely remembered from being a child brought tears to her eyes, that and the constant apologizes for losing her father.

Admiral Zorko stood in dress uniform, with two of his Reapers at his side. They wore officers clothing instead of their normal armor, and their only weapon was their sidearm. Also with Zorko was the leader of the Special Forces squadron of the Renegades, who was here to represent the squadron. Both stood somberly, not saying anything, with their heads bowed in silent prayer, waiting for the proceedings to begin.

Jalua walked down towards the central pathway to the memorial. The stone walls had been divided with gaps in three directions, the center wall behind the other two to it's flanks. All of the walls carried names of people who had died in the battle on the Coalition's side. The Emperor's name was carved into the back of the coffin and would be placed horizontally into the stone wall, carried mostly inside. With Jalua walking at a slow pace, the soldiers on both sides of the pathway began to salute her presence before she finally fell in with the soldiers by the side to allow the coffin to pass. It did so after around five seconds and then she began to fall in behind the coffin with her uncle. Behind her was members of her family and officers who had close connections to the Royal Family. Then falling in behind them was more notable people of the Imperial Coalition, with more senior officers behind them. In all, there was over eight hundred people walking down behind the coffin along the pathway which stretched through fields of grass and hills. The coffin arrived at the memorial around ten minutes later, with music softly playing out before dying down for Admiral Nubai to make his speech.

"Today, we lay to rest Emperor Galor Iram. He died a martyr and hero to his last breath, defending what was right and free in our galaxy. His efforts had not gone unnoticed, supplying millions with a dream of galactic unity. Many lives had been lost on that same fateful day, but his legacy and theirs will carry onwards through the pages of history". Admiral Nubia waited a moment before continuing. "With this memorial to all of the fallen on all sides of the conflict, their actions will inspire further generations. Our Emperor shall remain with these peoples in the land of the free, forever". In one swift motion, Admiral Nubai saluted, his gaze staring straight and true. A mere second later, the sound of eight hundred boots echoed out through the countryside and the formations of soldiers, crewman and officers all saluted. Those lost and fallen was being paid the ultimate respect.
Jalua, her face with tear marks, left the lines with the others and greeted Dan Zorko and John Hammond, both seemed to be here to pay respect as well. "Thank you" she gasped between breaths, trying desperately to hold back the tears. Even with all of her training and knowledge of the force, she was unable to stop the tsunami riding within her. She turned her flooded gaze to the central wall of the memorial, to see her father's coffin begin to be carried into the walls, his name showing on the back for all to see. A few moments later, the coffin was within the walls, only the back surface with gleaming letters showing out, level with the stone and it's list of fallen. Taking a deep breath, Jalua turned out towards the long path heading through the fields towards the city. "Once I am made Empress, i can officially sign the treaties we have made. Until then, you shall have my word that none of our forces shall confront each other".

Dan lowered his arm from the salute that he had given the coffin along with the rest of the soldiers, biting his lower lip at the time. He could see both his Reapers doing the same. When the Renegade leader finished his salute, he started to make his way through the crowd.
Dan turned to address the Empress. "The treaties can wait. For now, all that matters is that we honor the late Admiral. The Black Moon organization will stad by its word to refran from any military action while in Coalition space." The roar of a starfighter reverbarated through his ears. He pointed towards the sky. "Look." he said.
In the sky flew 4 TIE Defenders, Renegades 1-4. They flew in a box formation, with a single Lambda-shuttle in the middle. This was the Renegade's way of honoring the late Admiral, by reenacting their flight from Taris to Fondor. Abrubtly, the shuttle pulled up and headed for space. The starfighters continued straight ahead in the missing man formation, and disappeared off into the distance.

John listened from a far as Dan spoke with Jalua. He felt it would be rude to interrupt. As Zorko finished, he got nearer.
Jalua, your father was a great tactitian, comrade, and leader to your coalition forces. Without a doubt he was a great man. I feel sorry I could not get the chance to treat him and become his friend. I am here for you.

Jalua thanked the both of them, they had come to this place out of their own free will, showing not only their dedication, but their understanding of wider politics. "Thank you, both of you. But for now we need to get going. The coronation shall take place next week but before then, i need to get to the Jedi Temple. I've got some work to do there" Jalua responded with thanks and a show of determination. "Thank you for coming both of you, I will not forget this".
Within moments the soldiers assigned to protected the Princess - Soon to be Empress - climbed aboard a shuttle with her with starfighter escorts all around. The transport flew into the sky and headed to the Coalition Fleet above.

Dan nodded to the Imperial commander and swiftly turned, and strode off, with his Reapers following. They boarded the shuttle that had participated in the funeral events, nd took off. The Renegade starfighters formed up around the shuttle, and the ships headed back to the Talons Revenge

John stayed the longest. His loft was just a few clicks away anyways. He stayed until the last guests left. When there were no more but a maintenance team, he took off and waited in his loft until the coronation.
