Jalua Solast carried herself forwards through the wild environment. She wore a backpack and had replaced her usually casual clothing with that of cooler clothes to maintain her. For over nine hours she had hiked through this almost inhospitable terrain, with amazing stamina she continued onwards. She was doubly impressed that she hadn't had to use the force to aid her so far, a good accomplishment since the Council had recommended her to improve her exercise routine after knighthood. But she wasn't here to enjoy the scenery however, instead, she was here to help retrieve over forty commandos. They had been sent by the Republic to keep an eye on the Mandalorian Capital but with their support group now forming their own renegade group, their loyalty to the Republic was now questionable. Jalua was here to meet with the Commandos and provide coordinates to the freighter waiting inside the capital. Sweat dripped down Jalua's forehead, not from the long journey but the imensely hot coniditons. She hadn't expected it to take so long either, so far she was almost five hours behind schedule, but her strength would take her five hours longer on her journey, easily catching up.

Night fell quickly under the canopy, covering the immense surroundings in fog and darkness. Jalua used the force to continue onwards, letting it show her the path she needed to take and did so at incredible speed. One thing she hadn't really practised was letting the force guide her, but now she was totally reliant on it's power. With an amazing speed she jogged through the vegetation, jumped over fallen trees, sprinted through open areas until finally she was hit with a variety of emotions. In front of her she saw flashes of barely noticeable figures, in camouflage gear and with their blasters pointed straight at her, fingers ready to fire. With this great burst of danger, her heart thudded against her chest and sprung her into action. With a small jump forwards from her sprint and then a greater one, she flew into the air at an amazing height and her lightsaber fell firmly in her palm on her descent. Activating her violet blade, she deflected three bolts once she landed and began twirling around to face her nearest attackers. But has suddenly the attacking began, it stopped. Halting herself from moving forwards, she studied with the force the people around her and suddenly realised who they were. They had obviously realised who she was once she activated her lightsaber and they had called for the cease fire immediately through their ranks. "I am Jedi Knight Jalua Solast, don't attack further" she shouted firmly, looking at each of the Commando's eyes with a pure combination of knowledge and confidence. That's when she saw a hand movement to her right, looking across, she saw the figure approaching her at a very cautious pace. "Captain Randar of forty-two Commando" the voice replied. Jalua turned and switched off her lightsaber, feeling safer than ever in this wild jungle. It might not have been the best move to make, but it was still in her hand and the force was letting her feel the emotions of everyone, coldness mostly. "Pleased to meet you and your soldiers Captain Randar. I'm here to deliver word from Galor Iram himself. His been branded by the Galactic Senate a traitor and accused of committing War Crimes. The one-hundred and sixteenth Special Forces Support Group is currently with him after also fleeing the Republic. His calling for your assistance in attempting to continue the war but without the Senate on their side" Jalua stated, knowing that the decision would take a while to come to. "I shall have to talk it through with my troop" said Captain Randar. "But stay with us while we set up camp, at least you won't be alone if Mandalorian Patrols come through our area". Nodding and walking with the Captain, Jalua began to see why Galor Iram would like these Commandos to be with his forces. Their tactical knowledge was excellent, although it was evident that they had been out here for months, they had kept themselves hidden from all eyes the entire time, meeting no one and being spotted by no one. The perfect scouts. But Jalua couldn't help but wonder how they actually felt being used as scouts, with their battle skills droned to perfection.

John set camp nearby to the jedi knight's. His small force of troops, surrounded with allied mandalorian guards patrolled the area, and within a few minutes, they had noticed the Jedi Knight.
Sir, Hammond, Sir. We have come in contact with an enemy camp. We do not know with certainty who they are, but they are no mandalorian or remnant forces. What shall we do?
Continue on the lookout, and take me to this camp you speak of.

OOC: Let the hunt begin
The camp was deserted. The majority of the tents and other items had been packed up and gone but marks in the trees proved that they had been here. In the middle of the camp, remained a small spike with a note. It read 'Imperial Coalition wants to speak to the Mandalorian Commander on behalf of a Jedi Knight. Meet us forty miles west'. Forty miles west was in fact, nearer to the Mandalorian Capital. So the probability of getting there first was low.

OOC: sorry for taking so long to post... IC: John entered the surrounding area, followed by half a dozen stormtroopers, and two mandalorian guards. There were already some troopers in the area, examining every little aspect of the abandoned camp. Sir, they...left this. The scout trooper, placed the note on John's hand, who read it thoroughly, then again, and then another time. This could be a trap... Ok, we'll bite. And with that, the batallion (4 squads of 24 men each) split into two groups. Three squadrons left to reach the rendevouz, whilst John Hammond's best stayed to deal with the Mandalorians. "Hope they'll remember to keep their darned GPS on..."

Jalua walked with the commandos through the jungle towards the destination. Hopefully, they would be able to communicate with the Imperial Commandos peacefully. If not, they had a backup plan. Their main concern was getting away from Mandalorian Territory now they had changed allegiance to the Imperial Coalition.
After a couple of days trek through the jungle, the Commandos approached silently within two miles of the Rendezvous Point. The soldiers couldn't hear their own footsteps, so they knew the enemy would not hear them. Using the force, Jalua was scanning the surroundings to search for enemy soldiers, although with all the wildlife here, she was finding it difficult.
OOC: Gotta go now, you do next part?

Jalua felt the presence of several squads, they wasn't part of the Special Forces alongside her so she presumed they were hostile. After agreeing to have four men accompany her, she moved forwards into a clearing. She could feel danger all around her, but she couldn't tell what motives were in place. Her hand brushed the lightsaber on her belt, making sure that she could grab it in an instant. She stood in the clearing and waited patiently for someone to greet them.

John'officer and his men sped through the jungle, with some of them speeding in the trees canopys. They moved closer to the rendezvous point, and with each step forward John felt he was more and more inside the enemy's belly. Without hesitation, he kept forward, and silently got down of his speeder once he was arriving. He quickly scanned the area, and only saw a young girl pacing from one side of a small clearing to the other. He looked directly at her, and then spoke gently.
Who are you?
Captain Halley had his men ready for anything, and they were a few step back, still scanning the area. He held his blaster even tighter, just in case.

Jalua turned to look at the commander, showing him her lightsaber. The four special forces soldiers stood in groups of two either side of her, but at a respectable distance. "I am Jedi Knight Jalua Solast and Princess of the Imperial Coalition". She left a few seconds gap for the last part to sink in, before continuing. "You are?".

I am no one of great importance. I am here in representation of the Imperial Remnant.
Halley swallowed softly and with a great deal of doubt continued.
Jedi Knight? Imperial Coalition? This makes no sense whatsoever. And I suggest you surrender your weapons if you want to make it to the end of the day.

"All we want is to get off this planet, these soldiers were sent to their death by the Republic. They are joining the Coalition and i wish to take them to our fleet. For obvious reasons we can't just come here and pick them up ourselves, and the Mandalorian's wouldn't listen to us. If you do, i can guarantee full co-operation against the Republic from several fleets and planets. Will you do this?". This was an attempt by Jalua to ignore the request for the surrendering of weapons, although her request also showed the urgency of their situation. If the Mandalorian's found them...

Halley thought for a moment. He looked at the four men near the Jedi, and sized them up. They wore the insignia of Republic Spec. Ops. Not far away, he could see two snipers hidden in the trees, and a machine gun set stealthily between the trees. Doubtlessly there were many more hidden in the forest.
"I will need to contact my Commander, but I think we may be able to help you." The words came out without thinking, and he regretted blurting out so easily. "I want your men to come out, however. I can spot two snipers and a machine gun. I don't want my men mowed down by some... amateur twitch." Halley pointed at each man, showing off his expertise. He looked at the Jedi again. He cursed himself for not having brought the Force Dampeners with him, but he had not imagined that there would be Jedi involved in this mission.
He turned to his men, and gave the order to set up a camp. "Now... How would everybody like it if we ate?" He was sure these troops had been out here for long, and they would certainly appreciate a hot meal.

"Of course" Jalua said with a smile, she was surprised at how diplomatic this Imperial Commander was. With a wave of the hand from one of the soldiers in the clearing, the rest of the Special Forces stood up and walked out of the jungle, still wearing lots of the jungle environment on their clothing. "Captain Randar, meet... she paused for a moment, looking at the man who had greeted her, "Erm... meet our friend". Captain Randar switched his rifle to the other hand and held out his right arm to his Imperial Counterpart. "A pleasure to meet you, Commander".

"I'm pleased to meet you too. Oh, and my name is Halley." Halley held out his hand to both Jalua and Randar after motioning for his men to stand down. Immediately, a camp was set up, and, soon, the rations and extra rations were being distributed.
"So, how long have you been here?" He addressed the question not just to Jalua, but to the Captain as well.

"I've been here just under two weeks so far" Jalua replied, secretly proud that she had survived such a task with lots of men who had been out here for- "Almost six standard months for me and my men. When we were serving the Republic, they dropped us here and told us to survive until we got the order to attack. We made routine patrols and scouted enemy camps throughout the region, noting down everything, even getting into the Capital once" Randar said with no boasting, just making a statement to show how tough they really were. After all, they should be proud, they were the supreme soldiers in the whole of the New Republic a few months ago. While the military had been relatively untrained and inexperienced, the Special Forces was being sent in to do the dirty work time and time again, possibly making them the best in the galaxy, although that would be impossible to confirm. Just after Randar's statement, Jalua began to bleep. Everyone including the Special Forces on her own side raised their weapons, but Jalua pulled out a small datapad with an antenna. "Take it easy, it's just a communicator" Randar responded to his soldiers, who proceeded to lower their weapons. Jalua turned to him and gave him a strange look, unsure why the forty men and women had reacted how they had. "DR-13 Explosive Charges sound like that" he explained with a smile. After pressing a few buttons, Jalua found herself looking at a blue version of her father. "Dad?" she announced, rather shocked. But this made sense, she hadn't been in a clearing since she arrived, the canopy had always weakened the signal, but now it was removed, she could communicate. Her father amazed some of the Special Forces, his face should be familiar with most who was aware of military situations throughout the galaxy. He was the former Supreme Commander of the New Republic, now Emperor of the Imperial Coalition. "Jalua, i trust you have recovered our friends?","Not quite, we are stuck on Mandalore, we will need transportation to get out of here". Unknowing that soldiers of the Galactic Empire was amongst them, her father continued. "I wish i could help you, but the Mandalorian's have the border secured too heavily to sneak in. If you could get your hands on a civilian transport, i could get my forces to meet you half-way. For the moment however, we are stuck fighting on Naboo". Jalua paused and looked at Halley and his soldiers. "Dad, get out of there! Stop attacking them and get away!" She shouted quickly, fearing for her life. Her father was obviously alarmed, seemingly clearing off some of the crew around him so he could speak in private. "We have met with Imperial Commandos on Mandalore, i promised to sign a ceasefire if we could get away" she pleaded, knowing that the tension was building up around them. "I'll retreat the fleet immediately and get my best pilots to pick you up... Stay safe Jalua". The hologram got ubruptly terminated, leading one of the soldiers to mention Mandalorian's Jamming Signals.
OOC: I'll let you continue now
