And with a sudden earthquake like shake, John's eyelids opened, once again. It felt strange opening his eyes, after being locked in an endless sleep for so many years. John felt his heart beat, feeling now, more than ever the blood flow around all his muscles, being able to move them again. And then, an intense surge of heat.
Flinching, John stood up, stepping on a large puddle of water. He looked around, noticing the room was almost completely dark, except for a couple of red lights illuminating the room temporarily. Without having even seconds for John to try and make out what was happening, an elite stealth trooper blasted through the door, babbling about "The Instigator" having a powerful energy loss and making its way to the planet's surface, quickly.
Sir, Hammond, Sir. "The Instigator" is spiraling towards the planet, sir.
Yes. Now he remembered. The Instigator was his command ship, a Sovereign Class Command Ship.
What's your name trooper? Where are we?
We're on "The Instigator," Sir. The name's Unit 386.
The ships' rear engine, exploded with the last phrase spoken, making a huge rumble inside the ship, and blared a couple of alarms. With this, the trooper and John both made their way to the ship's bridge.
We'll talk later trooper, we've got to land this thing, or we'll end up like bantha fodder, pronto.

The Instigator began to fall slowly, it's engines sparkling.
Hammond rushed to the bridge, where he found his captain struggling with ship.
"What's going on? I want a full report, now!"
"We just woke up, sir! All engines are gone, power is 4%!"
"Nuke reactor's spent, no way we're getting that back!"
Hammond paused to think. Thousands of years in a cryogenic chamber really did slow your mind.
"Re-direct all power to engine 1. Keep the azimuthal as close as you can to 0. I do not want inclination going over 35%. Re-direct all the power from the batteries as well. We're not going to need them now."
"Sir, yessir!"
John frowned. The ship jolted, and there was an eery creaking as all systems failed. The ship began to turn to face the planet, and began to fall, gaining speed.
The thingypit went red as friction heated the star destroyer.
"Shut off all engines! All power to the forward deflector shields!"
The massive Star Destroyer fell, attracting attention throughout the planet. The cruiser crashed violently, crushing everything in its path.
Hammond was jolted forward, held in his place by his security belt. He was shaken, but he recovered fast.
"Out! Everybody out, form in battle formation, and get out!"
Emergency sirens sounded, but barely. Hammond stayed after the last man had gone out, then inserted a code on his keyboard. It ejected a small disk, and immediately afterwards, the rest of the computers on board became scrambled: All their data erased and saved on to the disk.
Hammond ran out, wondering what plight could have awoken him and his crew.

Hammond walked out of his old cruiser, and kept walking behind his batallions. As they managed to walk a couple of miles, the ship exploded, blowing debris everywhere.
"Halt!" Hammond shouted as loud as he could, as none of their comm links worked. The order was repeated throughout the entire army. He turned to his First Lieutenant, "Tell the men to settle down. If I remember Imperial efficiency, the first defense troops will be arriving in some minutes. We wouldn't want to be shot down, would we now?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the Yaga Minor Planetary HQ, the crashing ship was meticulously monitored. "Sir! There are over 3,000 men on board the cruiser! But..." "But what, soldier?" "The ship is a 1st Galactic Empire model, sir. Those men would have to be very old."
The General looked up. There was a look of deep worry on his face: "Sound the alarms, and send two batallions to bring them in. If they resist, kill them."

5 km away from the star destroyer's crash site, John Hammond and his men built a perimeter, in which they had settled themselves comfortably and rested.
Hey! You, yeah you! Drag some imperial sharpshooters towards that dusty hill, and stay alert from defense troops comingfrom the north and west of our position. Position some sharpshooters to our south, on what remains of that building. Notice myself, or the captain if troopers approach from the south or east.
After what seemed like an eternity, defense troops approached from the south-west, and John was alerted twice of this. With a little frustration, John and his men stayed put....waiting for the planet's defense to arrive. John, expecting for Yaga Minor's planetary defense to attack, was ready to instruct their men to ambush the defense from a small part of their team which hid several km. away.
With, their blasters in plain view, the defense approached the perimeter, ready to fire in any small flinch or hesitation.
We come in peace. Surrend now, or face the true power of the Imperial Remnant.
Hammond's team was highly outnumbered, it was impossible to get out of this alive. John first hesitated, but then knew it was the best way to survive this.
We come in peace as well. We do not want to sacrifice the lives of so many troopers for an arrogant impulse of anger.
John then took out what seemed to be a very old holo-disk, which looked prehistoric with the poor technology it carried. Even though, to the surprise of the planetary defense's troopers, the holo-disk turned on. In seconds, the holo-disk showed the image of a tall, handsome man.
This is Grand Admiral Thrawn, Imperial Grand Admiral, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet. If this message is activated, John Hammond, Master Strategist of the Empire, has been awoken due to extreme danger to the Galactic Empire. To all imperial officials, grant him everything that is necessary to reach the Supreme Imperial General post.
With awe and shock, the planetary commander responded:
(Almost a whisper, to himself) The legendary Grand Admiral Thrawn....Grand Admiral of the Imperial Fleet... (to John) Hammond, Sir, this way please.

After Hammond had been taken to the Yaga Minor Defense General, he repeated the message played for the Commander. The General was shaken, but he did not give in so easily.
"This is a scam, you are a republic spy!"
Hammond sighed. After the Force knew how many years, they still had not learned.
"Type in this code into your computer mainframe. You'll find the same message is encrypted in every single computer in this room. I was awoken for a reason, General, and that reason is very likely also very dangerous. Now, you can choose between helping me get my men on a Star Destroyer and getting us all the best weapons and armour you have ASAP, or you can keep us here while the Empire crumbles." The General swallowed, hard. He finally made a decision, and typed in the code. Immediately, the same hologram played again, Thrawn's impressive appearance making everyone in the room shiver with excitement.
"Get this man a ship!"
"And a crew to handle it, while my troopers get the hang of it."
"Yes, I will."
"Yessir, you mean, General. Do not forget who you are speaking with." "I apologize, sir, I will comply immediately, sir!" The General snapped to attention, causing many of his soldiers to burst out laughing. He went red in the face, and Hammond smiled.
"At ease, General. Get me my ship."

Hammond stood in the bridge, surrounded by a new crew, his old crew busy taking courses on the proper handling of the new weaponry, armour and computer and communication systems.
"Where to, sir?"
"Plot a course for Bastion. Or whatever the Imperial Capital is, nowadays."
And the Star Destroyer went into hyperspace.
OOC: Don't worry Xizas, I'll send back the Star Destroyer.
