Well i am considering putting the planets and areas into regions, but then we wouldn't be able to have further sub-boards until the next version of proboards comes out. I know, it sucks having just one sub-board but still.

I'm certain you can put more than one under a board, I did it with a Proboard forum about 3 years ago.

Nah, it says you can create a sub-forum above or below an existing one, not make another inside a sub-forum though It's on the feature list of the new version though, which should hopefully be coming out soon. I believe they've already done test forums of it.

Well that isn't quite what I meant, I just thought that a series of sub-boards inside the planet board could highlight the parts of a planet.
And for places like Lok, perhaps BM has their own category along with the Mandalorians and such with the planets they control in that category?

I want to wait and see what Dan thinks of this before we decide further

I like the idea if my opinion counts. Sure it takes a way a bit of a sense of who actually owns the planet, but we can always color code the names

I want to wait and see what Dan thinks of this before we decide further Damn... I actually had to read the past posts instead of skim because of that... Anyways, I'm for it, if it'll clean up the site. Go loco.

Right okay, I'll probably need to create quite a mess at first, creating the new categories and moving stuff into each region etc
Once we have the sub-sub-forums etc, where we can have unlimited sub-forums with the new version of proboards, then we can add in things like the Jedi Temple on Coruscant as an individual place.

So should we put the RP on hold until it's sorted out?

Nah, it'll be fine. I'll just move it all over when its quiet and we haven't got many visitors.

Should it be done by region or by area?
What i mean is, we could do it;
Core, Inner Rim, Expansion Regions, Colonies etc
Or we could do it;
Core Worlds, Corporate Sector, Hutt Space

I'd say that doing it by the name of the area is better, aka Core, Mid Rim, etc.

I'm currently moving the boards over to the suggested layout and encountered something. In the Outer Rim, which at the time of this post contains 7 sub-boards, it makes you have to scroll down to see the topics. What I'm proposing is that i begin taking out board descriptions and that way it will save a lot of space since you will just have the name of the board your entering. You think i should do it?
