Once the remaining attendee's had arrived, Jalua stood up and opened the double doors to the conference room. A group of people walked in carrying drinks and food while a couple more used scanners to detect bugs in the room. "Grab yourself food and drink while we wait" Jalua said, before grabbing a plate, stuffing it full of food and grabbing some Corellian Whiskey.
It took almost half an hour for the conference room to be scanned, but the verdict was all clear, and the two walked out, shutting the doors behind them. Jalua remained seated this time, but looked at everyone eating and drinking. "Right then, the new taxes have stretched relations out between us all, so now is probably the best time to decide what we want to do before any more damage is done. So does anybody have any ideas for us? I was also thinking of possibly grouping together to make a stand against the Black Guard and other aggressive groups, they have caused a lot of damage recently and it is one of my key priorities to stop them", Jalua looked around the table, hoping that someone would have something to say.

Dan put down his fork, pushed his chair back, and rested his head on his hands, looking at Jalua. "The way you say 'Group together' worries me for some reason. Can you explain what you mean by that phrase? My personal idea was to make a Joint Strike Force to hit the bastards where they live, and stop them before they attack us again."

Jalua paused for a moment, taken back by Dan's aggressive nature. She hadn't seen this side of him before, and it made her cautious, even kind of scared. "Well yes, but first we need to find them. So far, i know nothing about where they are located. I don't know how many they consist of or how strong their forces are. From what little they have shown to us, they have dealt devastating blows, and that scares me. We haven't recovered their weapons and therefore can't be understood, from what they did at Gyndine and Coruscant, shows they are merciless. What i have seen however, is those strikes have been motivated by something. Coruscant was full of civilians on that space station, but Gyndine had wounded soldiers. We also believe that they stormed into the cockpit of the hospital ship they used to damage my navy, meaning something important must have been in there for them not to just do that straight away. If we are going to work together, then don't let it just be for this cause, but a strength against all that oppose us".

Dan took a sip of the water he had been drinking. Jalua was right. The 8th Recon Force and the 6th Special Forces had been looking for this "Black Guard," and hadn't been able to find them so far. It seems like everytime they appear, they disappear just as quickly. "We got that was sent about the Guard looking for something in the cockpit of my ship, and we've been looking ino it, but haven't been able to figure it out so far. We looked at the data that had been updated on the ship right before the launch to Gydine, and haven't found anything out of the ordinary." he took another sip of the water. "I still stand by my opinion that we must actively seek and destroy threats to us if we want to defend our territories. I would fully support a task force."

Delso had been just sitting there with his advisors...listening. Zorko seemed ruthless, and Solast seemed tentative. That was a small problem...the two opposite poles needed to be met in the middle with something. A task force? The only ones with critical information regard their enemy would be his spies and the jedi. So we plan to strike blind...not even knowing what we are going after? Delso had heard enough. He slammed his fist down on the table and stood from his chair.
Delso: "So we send a task force to take out an empire? Thats our brilliant plan? That sounds like the thinking of a true pirate at heart. Your people do not even have the proper intellegence information to compliment such a strike."
Delso began pacing around the conference room to calm himself.*seconds pass* He returns to standing directly behind his seat.
Delso:"Perhaps the first thing that Black Moon and the Coalition should think about is how do deal with the current economic crisis. With the current inflation in your governments, how do you know that your people will even back a full scale war? I think you will find that it is harder to be patriotic with an empty wallet.
*Sits back down after a moment*
Delso: "Separated as we are...we are in no shape to go to war...."

Caedus said nothing. Personally, he wanted to see how this played out before offering the council's advice on the matter.

Dan wordlessly stood up and walked over to the door. Opening it, he found his Reapers wordlessly eying the Mandolorian guards across the hall. Dan drew his blaster pistol, flipped it around, and handed it to one of the Reapers. "Don't let me have this back until all of this is over." he said. The Reaper nodded.
Dan walked back in and sat down. "Right then. Now to answer your question, Mr. Delso, my plan was to FIRST find out more where this rabble lives, THEN form a strike force to root them out. I don't see you coming up with any brilliant plans over there."
Dan took a deep breath. "In terms of the economic crisis, I will have to follow wherever you decide to go on that. Politics have never been my strong suit."

The General smiled.
Delso: "General Delso will suffice Overlord. Now, a strike team could work effectively. Gavin..."
The Mandalorian Intelligence officer sitting to the right of Delso plugged his datapad into the outlet attached to the table. Above the table appeared a holodisplay of the planet Bastion.
Gavin: "Our intelligence indicates that John Hammond is currently in the Palpatine Hospital on Bastion and is in a weakened condition. No doubt he is heavily guarded, but a golden opportunity nontheless."
Gavin sat back down and returned his datapad to his pocket. The hologram dissapeared. Delso stood up once more.
Delso: "Intelligence suggests that Hammond hopes to divide us, and then conquer us to expand his already massive Empire. His plans are sound and his armada's are strong. Success for him would not be easy, but it would be inevitable. But tell me, how can he hope to divide us if we stand as one? If we could put aside our differences and form one government, we would be invincible."
Delso sat back down in his chair. He wanted to see the others view on his proposal.

"A well conceived plan, but not without risk. Who do you propose will lead this newly created faction?" Caedus said as little as possible. He and his fellow jedi were more observers than anything.

Jalua was stunned for a moment, talk about fighting the Empire hadn't been her agenda, although it showed that all sides were aware of the risks of his latest expansion and taxation laws. When word of a government was made, this interested Jalua. Her basis of a Coalition government had existed, ended and now thrived again with the territorial expansion of the Imperial Coalition. It had worked well for her, slowly integrating the new planets while the fleets continued to work on expansion. It had also boasted a large amount of loyalty to a regime that had brought a unified trade system and defence force. Although technically under a monarchy, her Imperial Coalition gave it's citizens many freedoms, especially those who came out of service in the forces which was currently mandatory.
"We would be useless with one leader" she began, watching everyone's faces, "If all of us were leaders, we might be able to work more effectively. If there was different factions in charge of different sections of government, then that might work even better. I'm sure Dan's pirates have many connections, I'm guessing they would be great use for intelligence. The Coalition's got the numbers but not the ships, so our armies would probably be more useful. The Mandalorians I'm guessing have a large fleet at the ready, perhaps you for navy? The Jedi Order have withstood many conflicts, perhaps they could assist us all in making balanced decisions for our citizens and draw up the path to victory?". These were radical ideas, but Jalua could begin to see this working. Instead of having one leader, or a group which would debate every matter, have the faction's specialise in what they can already do.

"You propose government based on how the Jedi run the order perhaps? Ruled by a council? I see no problems there. But tell me Empress, who would be on this council?" The Imperials would never expect to fight a united front. This was bold indeed.

"Well why not have for example, the Mandalorians in charge of the Navy of this alliance on the council. Then the Imperial Coalition possibly in charge of the Army, work like that. Eventually we get to the citizens we need to protect and rule over, so why not have all of these leaders and a representative of the Jedi Council. This would allow us to react quickly with leaders making decisions without them going to a council first, and joint operations being decided by this council when the time comes. For managing our peoples, we could continue having our current governments rule over. If not, then we could bring them under the Jedi Council and all of our members of the council".

"And I prefer Grand Admiral, General." Dan said to Delso. "Overlord sounds... Harsh to me."
"Anyways, our intelligence has come up with the same. We've noticed that that the current Imperial expansion has been to cut off hyperspace routes, and planets with shipyards. We think they're preparing for war again. Currently, relationships between the Imperials and the Black Moon and Imperial Coalition are a bit strained after the incident at Ossus. We John may be after the Jedi, as we sort of embaressed him by slipping the Jedi out from under his nose."
Dan sat back. "But in terms of this government... I'm just not so sure. After everything I've worked for all these years, I'm not sure I want to give it up so easily. I'm going to talk to my Admirals before I give you a definate answer."
Dan turned to look at Delso. "Also, General, I need to ask a favor of you. Would you allow me to return to Taris? When we left, I left something there that is extremely important to me. I need it back."

Delso: " I do see your point Grand Admiral. Why should you or the Empress give up all that you have worked for over all these years on a whim? Do not think that i am unlike you in this situation. It has been braught to Mandalore's attention that he will never again leave the bed that he currently lies in....and sixteen hours ago one of the current clan leaders was selected to succeed him as Mandalore when the time comes. I do not relish the fact of loosing an empire that is rigthtfully mine.
Delso paused for a moment after that and considered the Grand Admiral's request.
Delso:"We will not abandon our independance fully Admiral."
delso nodded to Gavin who reinserted the datapad into the holoprojector. A galactic map appeared in front of the lot of them. It was also color coded into factions. Blue for the Empire, purple for the coalition, orange for the Mandos, and cyan for the Jedi Order. Almost half of the galaxy was in blue, but the other half was situated with colors coded to their factions. The BM ME IC and JO were outlined with a red line.
Delso: I will answer your question about taris later, but for now, what does this council think?
