OOC: I use the Lambda instead of the LAAT/i on diplomatic missions.

Hammond thought for a moment, and realized Dan was right.
"Oh, what the Force. Fine, I'll send in a diplomatic ship. What's the difference? They won't change their mind." Hammond sighed, and realized that, quite probably, he was doomed to die in his bed, murdered, when he would have wished for a death in battle, or from natural causes. Well, he thought, people never get exactly what they want...

Jalua felt something move in her pocket and decided to casually remove it, without raising attention. Looking at the screen of her datapad, she read the message from the Jedi Order. She took in the information and placed it carefully back into her pocket, not looking at the device long enough to raise attention. It was then that John asked where he could find them, Dan was the first to respond, but she knew, and so would they, that her being a Jedi Knight would hold the key he was looking for. "John, you know i can't tell you that. What i can do is arrange a meeting with you and them, that way you could stop all of this before it brews into total war. What i do know however, is that they aren't looking for war, their attention is outside of the troubles we are facing. If that information you hold is what they could use, and I'm guessing it is, you would be better off winning favour by just giving it to them, rather than using it like a bargaining chip" she concluded, now turning from anger and resilience in her voice to understanding and a suggestive mood.

"And how would it benefit me, Empress, to help the Jedi Order and recieve nothing in return? I am dying, and I would rather leave this galaxy in the hands of a stronger Galactic Empire than in the hands of a weak Empire and a usurping Jedi Order. Of course, if I may help either of you, it would be my pleasure." Hammond was about something more, but without warning he fell off of his chair. His armour started to emit an alarm, and readings appeared on the screen on the armour's chest.

"Sith!" swore Dan and jumped up. He ran over to the fallen Hammond.

Jalua stood up and raised both of her hands. "Tell the guards" she said simply to Dan before her eyes rolled back and she began to aid John's heart in beating and lungs in breathing. The rest of the organs would hopefully continue to survive if those two remained steady. Jalua was deep in a trance-like state, barely breathing herself as she attempted to keep John alive. Meanwhile the medics arrived and carried the hover-strecher into the meeting room, ready to take John to the nearest medical centre.

Dan ran outside. "Hammonds down!" he hollered, and ran back inside, hearing the steady thump of boots following behind.

In the hallway, everything exploded.
"Player's down, player's down!" The Guardians reacted immediately. They rushed to the door, where they were blocked by the Royal Guards. Everything was in chaos as nobody knew where the Supreme Commander was, more and more Royal Guards were rushing in, and the Guardians were in a seemingly vulnerable position: Ambushed. No shots had been fired yet, but they were setting up positions, throwing Coalition soldiers out of the way in a desperate attempt to reach their leader.
Meanwhile, Hammond's heartbeat was maintained by Jalua, but it was very faint. There was a trail of blood coming out of his mouth, and bruises were appearing on his arms and torso, signs of heavy internal bleeding. He was unconscious, and his vitals were getting weaker by the second.

Jalua had been escorted through the palace to the operations room, although not like her secured bunker, she could still manage things from here. The council members which had been discussing plans with her before was now here again, keeping checks on events live as they came through and offering suggestions and orders from the palace. When Jalua entered, she immediately raced to these who knew more of the situation outside the palace than she did. "Report" she demanded in a firm tone, she knew that this would be taken very seriously if word got out. "It's all over the Holonet" one of her political representatives immediately raised, confirming her fears. "The Mandalorians have continued with their expansion and word is, the Galactic Empire might go to war without Hammond being anywhere near them. Also, this here with his health raised serious doubts about our and his intentions". Jalua kept herself silent, and looked at the activity around her for a long while, not saying a word, just thinking. "What worlds have they taken?" she finally asked, her voice barely a whisper amongst the noise in the room. "Kuar, Bandomeer, possibly Wayland, there's other rumoured systems too, but we haven't confirmed these yet" an Admiral said, that was all he had to say. "They say it's an invasion by the Mandalorians?" she asked again, all that she got was nods. "Right, once either side declares war, we demand an immediate ceasefire within twenty-four hours. That is for both sides, if neither comply, then we shall enter the war" she said, her face visibly drained. "Against whom?" a General asked, but Jalua gave him a look like it was fairly obvious who. "We shall see what happens but we need to make a stand in this, the trouble's gone on for too long now" she said to him in response to his bewilderment. Jalua, unlike her usual self, headed straight back for her quarters, to get some rest before entering the chaos once again.

OOC: Right... I'll just go sleep in the Embassy tonight...
Dan looked around at the empty hallway. "Well, this is great..." he muttered, and beckoned to his Reapers to follow him. He walked out of the castle and back into the shuttlebus, then headed off to the BM Embassy to take a nap.

Jalua awoke, still mentally exhausted by recent events, but took this time she had spare to meditate. She hadn't found the time for the last couple of weeks, and she knew how valuable it would be to keep her mind in check. It also might reveal the right course of action, something which only the force could tell in some situations. She crossed her legs, sat on a warm fluffy carpet, her mind beginning to daze over. Lights flashed before her eyes and slowly but surely, they formed shapes and colours. Jalua found herself watching a vision of herself seeing another younger woman, somehow she knew her to be related, family. The woman was in combat gear, Coalition combat gear she noted, with rigging and weapons showing her to be in some kind of elite fighting force. This woman, one who Jalua did not recognise, seemed to be holding her helmet under her arm pit, pointing on blueprints of where they would strike, to others in a group wearing similar clothing. Jalua's vision began to blur and soon enough, all she could see was the blackness of inside her eyelids. Opening slowly, she adjusted to the lightened conditions in the room, and stood up carefully, pondering what she had just saw.

"I said, let me through, Guards." Platoon Commander Dellalt growled at the Royal Troopers who stood guard to the entrance to Jalua's throne room. The commandos didn't know where she was, but they figured this was a safe bet.
"What do you want, anyways?"
"I told you. The Supreme Commander has been kidnapped. Now, move. I need air support, access to a logistics department and food and water for my troops. Either you move, or you face the guilt of plunging your Coalition into war with us."
The Royal Guard swallowed, but, to his credit, did not budge.
OOC: Some help?

OOC: Sure
The commandos from the navy had protected the palace during all situations, and now was not an exception. Paratroopers secured one half, Commandos another, two elite fighting forces. These protected the Empress on state visits and at the Palace, so it was no surprise that they were ready, especially now. The soldier had stood firm, and his comrades followed this example well. It was only until a brunette came along with a large amount of armour and gear on, that it showed who the Commandos respected. She casually walked between the guards and they even opened the two doors for her, this didn't bother he at all, she had priority clearance, but she could see how upset the Imperial Commander was at this. "What seems to be the problem?" she asked the guard, not even bothering to take the political arrogance from the Imperial. "They want to see the Empress Ma'am" the Commando replied, not moving his stare. The brunette looked back at the Platoon Commander before shaking her head. "Tell me what it is you need to see her about or you won't get let in at all" she said, standing firm with her blaster rifle swinging in front of her.

"By the Force." The Pl. Cmmdr. was going crazy. "Why doesn't anyone understand the Supreme Commander was KIDNAPPED and we have to rescue him NOW! I need AIRCRAFT people!"
OOC: Short, and to the point.

Dan entered, with four of his Reapers behind him. He was in full battle armor with a blaster rifle hanging from a bandolier. He entered to find a Imperial officer going crazy at the Royal Guards. "Sith, you guys haven't learned much, have you?" he asked. "You can't just barge into the Palace whenever you want! Now, is there a problem here?" he asked, his 4 Reapers losely holding their blasters behind him.
